Nice little update. I love the revamped upgrade tablet and am curious to see the other options. I also like the added more intense belly noises when the imp is at their limit. Also their dizzied groan after bursting is a nice touch too. My only complaint is maybe the lower the volume of the shop's bell jingling a bit? It seems a bit too piercing for some reason. Other than loving this little demo and have played it repeatedly.
Another suggestion, it would be great to see animations for the imp sleeping and adventuring too, especially with the varying belly sizes. though I understand this would triple the workload so 100% understand if that's a no go lol
Either way loving the game and can't wait to see more.
I think I remember see this guy on your fa and it's great seeing him in use! Love his design. His expressions are varied
and seeing his various belly sizes are very nice. Would love seeing more reactions from him and seeing him get even larger would be fun too. I'd also love seeing more animations and reactions from him. I know that would be even more work but it might be really neat to see. Also would be curious if the adventure becomes more involving. again I know that would be even more work but I'd love seeing him trying to do fulfill adventures while with an increasingly big belly.
Maybe an option to lower the screamer sounds a bit? I know they're meant to be unnerving but it's a bit much since I like my games loud especially when they have such a good atmosphere like this game does. I definitely like the slow methodical movement and gunplay and the ending definitely got me good lol Would love to see more of this!
Absolutely love the character's (Mixuruca??) design. It's a perfect mix of ugly and cute. Is there lore behind the character or world? Do they have a goal or reason to run through the strange brain realm? If you think it fits your vision I'd love to see some characterization and story beats.
Also love the gnarly look of Cerebrum. It's slightly nauseating but awesome and creepy and I like just standing still to admire it. Being familiar with Sonic games I found the game pretty easy to adapt to which is nice because I am not the best at platforming.
My only issue is that maybe some more health pick ups would be nice as I struggled a bit. But might just be a skill issue lol but it seems like sometimes the traps like the guillotine blades move very fast and hard to predict. Also it might be nice to have the ability to grip ledges. I feel like I had multiple instances where the character just slides down and falls into the abyss. Also in the pit area where it gives you the second I think hint bubble, maybe swap it with the hint that tells you about bouncing? I feel into the pit I could not figure out how to get out at first lol
First impression overall is pretty positive. Would deifnitely love to see more!
