The physical map is a little weird, it's in a top is south orientation, same as the radar. This is the reason people recommend moving the map next to the radar. Meanwhile the digital map is actually north on top. It's weird lol

Spoiler-free gameplay tips:

• the game has a coasting mechanic so you don't need to use fuel going downhill.
• Your base is Alpha.
