Glad you cracked the puzzle! Thanks a lot for playing.

thank you !!

Thanks a lot! Yes, I think platformer bugginess may be largely a web thing, but also because literally an hour before submission my movement script broke and I had to write a new janky one :[ That's a good suggestion, I would definitely add a "retake with same answers" button if given the chance now. Thanks for the feedback!!

Thank you! Had a lot of fun making a little soundtrack with mouse clicking samples :)

Really love your artwork! Impressively large amount of pixel art for just a 4 day jam. I'm not super clicking with what exactly the game mechanic/challenge is but having fun none the less

Solid idea of collecting money every day to save up for a goal, but (as you might expect with a loop) it got very repetitive without any changes to the level. Also, the crying sound effect was pretty tough to listen to after a while.

What does your girlfriend think about this game? It seems like her character just cries and complains. It would be nice to see some character progression or nuance beyond 'crybaby'.

That makes sense! If I keep developing this idea I'll try to streamline the replay process. Could add a "retaek quiz" vs "replay with same answers" option for sure :)

Ohhhh. Whoops!

Very odd and unique concept. Is the wire the dog's intestine?

Little unwieldy controls and level design felt not entirely uniform in terms of difficulty and legibility.

Love,

Great fit for the theme. I think being a salmon is difficult and makes you weary. I feel a bit weary and woebegone now. Perhaps this is because you created such an accurate simulation of salmonhood. xoxo lookaside

Bro

Wow

I'm sober right now but I feel BUZZED because that was such a feat of human creativity.

YAwesome it's like if you were in side an Ipod Touch and awesome

Very cool

I DONT GET IT ?

I was playing this with a group of friends and we applauded after the game ended. Silly and funny. Kind of easy but hey

This is a fun idea for the movement mechanic, but I was having some toruble finding the objective of the game. I think there's a glitch where you can just go through  a cloud and keep going forever..?

ok cool thanks for the response! will try out that sampler trick

what do you use to make your music? i love the little atmospheric delayed bells.

this is so lovely :)

Cool game!! This might be a strange question but how do you get your game page and home page on itch to be responsive? I love the animated screenshots and game thumbnails look and have never figured out how to do it...

You are my favorite itch.io post maker

You have to click on the customer! Sorry for the confusion

how silly. good job!

Nice and polished for such a short dev period! Love the music. And the satisfaction of ignoring those last AI requests and paying my little fishdevs more out of spite.

excellent minimalist platformer. sound design really stood out too! and i was not expecting so much content, the b-sides were a (great) surprise

🐸💨

congrats on finishing your thesis! this comic is so rad

the mole forgives you :) it's a very durable little ship

high praise from one of my favorite interactive fiction writers :)

Oh no haha that's a bug I should have forseen! Sorry about that, will patch once voting period is over (I don't think I can edit the game now). Thanks for playing!!

thank you for playing :)

that's great to hear! thanks :)

how silly! :)

thank you Jordan!

such a polished little minigame! love the art and music equally.

(note to people playing in a browser: don't use Alt as the shoot/advance text button, because I just learned that Alt+arrow keys is a shortcut to go back to the previous/next page in your browser lol. not the devs' fault!)

that's so kind! I'm happy the story was worth it.
