Understood! I do hobby game dev on the side so I truly appreciate how challenging game dev is. Just to reiterate: The game is great! I know it can be brutal to work really hard on something, and have accomplished more than you thought you could and solved countless problems, and instead of acknowledging all the good stuff that works, some rando on the internet says, "Yeah but the grammar..."
It's because of how good the other parts are that the writing stands out so bad, I promise I intend this as a compliment lol. I guess it's up to me to put my money where my mouth is, join the Discord, and start pointing out errors.

The awkward writing and grammar mistakes are painful and really detract from what is otherwise a really cool game. It's painfully obvious that the writer is not a native English speaker. The writing is kind of cringy to begin with, and I get it, good writing is not easy. But at *least* get someone to edit so it's not so clunky and full of errors. If no one else will volunteer, I will literally volunteer to do it for free. You could also just run the text through any LLM and have it fix it for you.
You're lowering the quality of your project with something that should be easy to fix these days. Not fucking around either. I will, 100% free, fix all of the text in your game for you so it has no grammatical English errors without changing the content or "personality" of the text itself.
