That would be awesome. I have a proofreader giving it a final look. Will post once I have that back from them

I wouldn't change anything TBH.

I *might* use monster stats from Shadowdark just because I like them better and they are every-so-slightly tougher. But that's totally personal preference.

Thanks so much!

Did that fix it?

Honestly, I never thought about bullets! :P THat’s an oversight on my part.

They’re not recoverable, but should probably cost the same or more than arrows. GM’s discretion on that.

I just added more

It needs an update. I'd say ADV to keep it consistent. Good catch!

oh yeah. I never connected that! Fall damage in all versions of D&D is 1d6 per 10’ fallen. Worse if there are spikes or acid at the bottom of that fall ;)

Thanks!

I don’t think I ever had rules for fall damage

Thanks for the info! It’s such a gorgeous book.

I was curious where you got Troves printed? Paper weights as well. I recently printed a few copies of my game Glaive for use at the table and had them bound in a similar fashion. The results were fine, but not exactly what I’d hoped for. My covers are more like your interior pages (100 weight?) and the interior pages are too flimsy for my tastes.

Hoping for better results the next time I do something like this.

Love the game by the way! :D

Thanks!

I submitted the refund request to Itch.io. I don't know how long those take to process but if you haven't received it by this time next week let me know

Oh, you purchased Yaloon a second time? No problem. I still need your email to look up the transaction.

The Lonely Adventurer page is my personal Itch page. The Tesladyne page is my company's page - started a few years later and run by my creative partner.

For contractual reasons I am required to post my work in both places.

As confusing as it may seem, this is actually the first time something like this has happened.

Anyhoo, give me that sweet sweet email address so I can sort this out for you. :)

I'm sorry about that. I don't manage the Tesladyne account -it must have been mislabeled over there. I've fixed it. Drop Brian a line over there and I bet he can get you your $2 back

I checked the Glaive files as well -they were all 3.0 as of this post. You should be able to download them without an issue. I will figure out how to refund the $5 from here

EDIT: I jut need your email address I can handle it on both pages

what a huge pain in the butt

It could be because i changed the URL. Let me switch it back and maybe that will fix the issue. Try again in a few minutes

I have some in storage I think. Hope over to the Lonely Adventurer Itch page if you'd like to figure out how we could get you one -Scott

Book arrived a few days ago - looks fantastic guys!

Very true. I was definitely looking at it through the lens of how I use the old monster stats today. I just assume 5hp her HD.

I feel like this is the way the rules intended it but at the same time it feels kind of stupid to me lol. Like, what’s the point?

What I mean is - the likelihood that 1 extra hp will matter is very low. But 3 hp (or 4, or 5 etc.) is the difference between surviving a hit from a longsword or not.

I dunno - it’s not important at the end ofc the day, but dang, Old D&D - why you so nebulous all the time lol

That seems to have fixed the issue. Glad it was a (relatively) easy fix :)

Finally sitting down to read your 2 adventures - really enjoying them both!

However, both appear to be missing  text. Probably just a missing font or something, I thought you would want to know .

This map is giving me so many ideas. It’s a very economic use of space while still delivering a lot of visual flavor. I’m going to have to give this a try on my next adventure

Ex.:

So . . .then its not the same Jamie (they were a student of mine haha)

Its crazy - I triple-checked that word and still goofed it up. Brain meats. Why no work??

Oh, would that be coming with the book I ordered?  Wonderful!

Thanks! I just uploaded new versions because I'm a dummy and Clip Stuido has no spell check, so "Susurrating" was spelled wrong LOL

(Is this Jamie from VCU, or just someone with the same name?) :D

I just ordered the physical copy from the FIS webstore. Was bunned I did get a PDF, or have the option to get a discounted PDF, with the book.  Something to consider?

For sure. Can you reach out to e on the Glaive discord? (link should be on the page)

Tesladyne is my company’s page. This is my personal page.

It does for sure!

As a Westerner worried  about appropiration I don't go "all in" for obvious reasons. I take the climate,  politics (Tamil dynasties or Mughal Empire for ex.), and some general truisms of human cultures that develop closer to the equator using more vibrant colors in their folk craft/spicier foods. I leave the actual cultures and religious beliefs alone.

Anywoo, again - great work!

When I'm done with the next update I will put out more community copies for sure!

Are you referring to the Tesladyne.itch page? Or something else?

I absolutely LOVE the vibes of this!!!

My home game is set in a sort of JRPG-ified version of the cultures around the Bay of Bengal and this is such good grist for the GM mill. So wonderful to get a different cultural perspective on Fantasyland.

Also, DAMN your art is beautiful.

Thanks will try those things. Appreciate you!

I am trying to upload a new PDF to an existing game but I get an error saying THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR UPLOAD.  I've refreshed the page several times and tried uploading different material to see if my file was the issue. It doesn't make a difference.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Auto-correct strikes again!

I did the thing

You are correct. A glaive is a polearm.

The mistake is further down the page, under devotion. It should read:

“Evil” creatures touching the glaive take 1d12 radiant damage and are stunned

(1 edit)

I thought I fixed that   >:(

Having some trouble uploading new files. Reaching out to Itch.io to see what's up

EDIT: should be fixed now
