Stay tuned, there might be an announcement within the next few days ;)

Well... good news for you my friend ;)

Thanks I appreciate the kind words, I‘ll keep that in mind when going into my next project!

(but I really can‘t promise that it‘ll be another Escape Hagrid game)

🥵

🥵

You mean "Pet Sematary" (misspelling intended) based in the novel by Stephen King. While the game is somewhat inspired by the novel, it does tell its own story.

Okay, I'll try to fix this as soon as possible. I don't have an ultrawide monitor myself, which is why I havent thought of this, but thanks for letting me know this.

No Bitcoin miner, but you're not the first person to report this issue. Other's got it working by restarting the game but I have no clue what's causing the problem.

U 1.1. rel. Date 2/24/2022

Layout changes performed 3/8/2024

Weird, I really can't imagine why this happens but at least it works now :D

When you start up the game, is there nothing like this panel on the right side? It may be a problem with the UI font but I need to check it.

Normally it should be at the top of the start Screen.

I‘m glad people from other countries can enjoy my games too!

Even though it served as an inspiration I fear it may cause copyright issues, so I'd rather not, but thanks for playing and cool video!

Thanks, my thoughts were along similar lines when I made this game. As always your comments are greatly appreciated Niven!

Hi Niven,
I was just about to set up the page for my newest game when I got the notification and instantly dropped what I was doing to play it - needless to say I was not dissapointed by your newest entry (I'm only telling this because weirdly enough they both involve cemeteries which I found kind of a funny coincidence).
Now I have to say this game was bone chilling especially the sound design made me feel really uncomfortable, especially at the hallway part.
Also I love the way the story gives you a sort of direction but also leaves the player room for interpretation - well done.
Overall yet another perfect short horror game!

Great video, I really enjoyed it and I'm happy that you got so many references!

Hey Niven, prime example of psychological horror here! Never would I have ever thought that something as normal as a lamp post could induce fear - yet it did. Great game, I am excited to see what is next!

cool video!

Please note: This is reuploaded version of the initial game I released last friday with slight adjustements as well as some bug fixes. Enjoy!

Awesome game, Niven! Even though it was pretty short, it greatly delivered the atmosphere, I'm excited for your teasered "Big Project" :D
All the best and good luck with your next games!

Yes, I am afraid multiple bugs (including some game breaking ones) were discovered after release that somehow went unnoticed during playtesting. At some point I decided to unlist the game until I can publish a patched version that holds up to my quality expectations.

Thanks for asking and all the best to you!

Danke sehr

Yup getting killed is the actual ending, I originally planned to implement an alternate ending where you can escape him, but that Idea was scraped as none of my ideas really felt fitting to the atmosphere.

That is intentional, poor dude is melting.

Sounds like some texture mapping problem. Problem is I have absolutely zero experience with Mac, therefore I can't promise anything but I"ll see what I can do.

Frosty the Snowhitman is now No 2 most popular on Itch.io - that means a lot to me, thank you all for your support :)

No, you cannot escape him, at least for now.

No, I think not but I really haven't given them a personality either

It warms my heart to hear that. Thank you and happy Christmas!

Thank you Niven, once again I really appreciate your feedback! I also wish you all the best with future games (as if you needed that, considering the - well deserved - success of your latest entries ^^)

I love your support but I'll need to see when I'll have the time to work on more games

Home-invasion-horror never fails to scare me, I guess it's a fear everyone can relate to. The atmosphere as well as the sound design were superb and made it even more terrifying.
Definitely a must play.

Thank you for the kind words and the helpful feedback :)
I‘ll see what I can do about the respawn location and the footsteps.

You only need to jump during the last level. All other levels can be completed without.

Note to myself: input system incompatibilities due to Engine downgrade have to be fixed for multi-platform input
