i dont know about other gpu's (but i would assume it would be the same), but i know on Nvidia cards with the Nvidia control panel, go too manage 3d settings, go too program settings, add in endurance testing, scroll down too max frame rate, and turn it on too whatever you want the frame rate to obe
but ye, an option in game would be nice
