Seriously this game is very well thought out, and in the zone Wildlands you expect to see the old infomercial pitch man from late night Television, Billy Mays pop out as an NPC, with the famous line "But Wait there is More!!" Truly a wonderful game, worth the game play,

Discovered maybe bug of sorts in the Adventure' guild, I have not figured it out what causes it triggers it, but sometimes you get a free reconstruction due to some action, not sure what action though.. in the Adventure's guild, trying to figure it out, when you level other characters, the dead party member comes back to life, not sure what causes it, or maybe *evil grin* it's supposed to be that way? Done it twice, When I really wanted it to work, I tried everything and can't figure out what triggered it before...
when you try to save, you get: Error: Failed to write to disk. But a file is saved. message is: Check console. When you try to load what appears to be the save file, it says Check console. or Failed to load save file. Check console for details. When you try to save it does save a file. lyrewight-save-178551996385.json so saved as plain-text?
The movement in the dungeons are very smooth, the zones are not over populated, you can kite the mobs at very low levels, (run around and let the mobs follow you like they are on a kite string, and hit the mobs with range and you take no damage.) The mobs are social, (they assist each other) which makes it a challenge, the dungeons are as they should. The mobs seem to have good agro range, (range as which the mobs notice your presences) I love the way the mobs spells cast area AE show up as a circle, that you can make all efforts to stay out of the red circle of death..lol
when player make suggestions, it's not always wise to follow the desires of one player vs the entire player base, that being said, back in the dark ages of text based games, when color came out!! remember dot matrix!! there used to a silly chart someone made, that explained colors and color blind people, and what combination to avoid. Could not find it..but the blue dot, white direction finder, might the direction finder be changed to another color? I would put some thought into it before just changing it to please one player.. I am not color blind, just find it hard to see that line with glasses on old eyes.
lol No This game I was thinking about... Copied the thief in the maze from a text based game called Zork, (downloaded off from a bulletin board with a 300 baud dial-up modem ) that was from um early 1980's The Computer game that was on the Commodore 64 computer, can't remember the name of the game though... Think it was Bard's Tale I, II, or III or...one of the series, from mid 80's til early 90's. The graphics, the UI is pretty much the same. might have been another series of a game.
The reason you can't enter a dungeon, pops up when you have not completed a required dungeon, you get an audio sound, and a sentence comes up, would be nice to change that to a second longer, and use another color? The blocks that list the spells you can cast, there is a sentence behind that you can't read.
Space is attack, Tab is inventory, the chests with the glowing upward lights Press E to interact, drop items, exp. Loot chest till you find weapon, avoiding mobs till you get a weapon and and then kill the mobs and look for the quest person, the stuff you can't pick up is quest items? I believe. Game become fun after you figure it out. Have not figured out how to sell or drop items from inventory. Find essence and drop them off at the Portal to advance to the next floor.
I can't recreate it myself...and I have tried, as the spot I clicked on was where you could only see a few squares on the right side of the screen, you can't see the entire path used to get to the spot. Not being able to get back into the game had nothing to do with the game. Total user error, sorry, I do so like this game..
Very nice concept, fun to play once you learn the mechanics of the game, found one bug, glitch, using Firefox if you click on a part of the map you can't see the full path to and it triggers movement, you can get stuck, and bounce between the same two spaces, with no way to stop it, and have to refresh. Once you crash, it's difficult to get the game back. Having difficulty repeating the glitch..might just be an environmental specific glitch.
