You can achieve two different endings. The bad ending is triggered by interacting with the computer in the final glitch lab room, while the good ending is reached by exiting through either the left or right doors.
If you downloaded the bonus game carolineHouse.exe, it becomes playable only after achieving the good ending, which creates a special file called code.trstme containing the word “invitation” in re:curse’s game folder. Without the good ending, launching carolineHouse.exe produces no significant results.
There’s also a hidden interaction involving Caroline. In a new game of re:curse, if youtraverse the infinite doors before your first conversation with Caroline, she’ll inquire about a cheat code. Entering “invitation” generates a new file called cheater.trstme, which unlocks additional dialogue when carolineHouse.exe is launched again.
