I really liked the little opening cutscene — it was so cute, and the story came across perfectly without a single word! XD

One suggestion: it would be great if turning the reaper felt a bit snappier. For example, when facing east, a single press of the A (south) button could instantly turn the reaper south, instead of needing a longer press. Since there are lots of quick turnarounds in the game, this small tweak could make movement feel smoother!

I really liked how the TV gradually got darker after each interactable — that visual progression was a great touch! I was a bit confused when the road suddenly got blocked and the ghost started chasing me, and then the game seemed to end abruptly.

Just a random idea: it might be interesting to extend the levels a bit and add more interactables so the screen gets REALLY dark towards the end. That way, the tension and atmosphere could really peak right before the jumpscare!!

I always love a good story-driven game :) Thanks for the short and crisp experience! I just wish it were a bit longer so we could see what happened to the people who got pulled into the TV. It would’ve been really cool to experience that firsthand — maybe even becoming one of the victims and trying to escape from inside the TV!

Very polished and fun gameplay! The perspective shifts were super cool — they actually reminded me of Super Mario Odyssey with the 2D-to-3D transitions. I can already tell you’ve got strong programming skills behind this.

The only feedback I’d give is that it was a bit hard to tell which objects were interactable — for example, realizing that cars could be used for jumping took me a moment. Maybe it’s because players don’t usually expect cars to be “bouncy” objects like mushrooms or trampolines.

Also, since jumping is such a big part of the game, I think making the jump feel a little less “floaty” and more snappy or physics-based could make it feel even more satisfying.

Overall, really well-made and impressively polished — great job!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play and write such detailed feedback! 🙏

I’m really happy you enjoyed the concept and atmosphere — especially the idea of helping kids achieve their dreams (and haha, sorry for the door knock scare, that one gets a lot of people 😅).

You’re absolutely right about the mechanics needing clearer guidance — the spacebar part in particular could’ve been communicated better. I’ll definitely work on improving the tutorial and refining the gameplay flow so it feels more intuitive and responsive.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback Jefukuri!

I love your idea of a casual mode! That’s definitely something I’d like to explore for future updates so players can enjoy a more relaxed version too.

Also, great catch about the multiple clicks issue — I’ll make sure to fix that.

Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words! 😊

I’m really glad you enjoyed the vibe, even with the challenge! I totally get what you mean about the ingredient timing — I’ll definitely consider making it a bit more forgiving so it feels fairer while keeping the tension. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback!

Hahaha I know exactly what you mean — I kept checking my own door while testing that sound too! 😂
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and thanks a lot for playing and sharing your feedback!

Haha oh no — I didn’t mean to give you work-level stress! 😅
I hope it was at least the fun kind though! Thanks so much for playing and for the kind words about the feel and aesthetics — really appreciate it!

Thank you so much for playing our game, Grooba! 😊

I really appreciate the feedback — you’re absolutely right about the ingredient visibility. It’s something we’ve heard a few times, and I’ll definitely work on making that clearer in future versions or jams.

Thank you so much, SoulEmperor! I really appreciate you taking the time to play — and I’m thrilled you enjoyed our frantic cooking chaos!

Thank you so much! And I’m really flattered that you see the potential for this game to grow further.

Thank you so much, Trihkal! I’m really glad you enjoyed our cute art style😊
I’ll definitely keep your suggestion in mind about easing players in with simpler recipes — that’s great feedback for future jams.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and feedback, Ruwaid! Your kind words really mean a lot.

I’ll definitely keep the learning curve in mind for future jams — finding that balance between challenge and accessibility is something I’ll work on more next time. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Aww, thank you so much!
I’m really happy you enjoyed it — and so glad you liked the character art too! All credit goes to our amazing designer, @sohee0428

Thank you so much! That really means a lot. 💖
It was a wild mix of ideas I wanted to try within the short jam time, so I’m really glad you enjoyed all the different elements coming together. Appreciate you taking the time to play and leave such kind words!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback, Dragonforge!

I made it intentionally frantic — it was inspired by my own real-life chaos in the kitchen, haha.

But you’re totally right — I probably got too good at it while developing, so I didn’t realize how overwhelming it might feel at first. I’ll definitely keep that in mind for the next update!

Please give my frantic candy-crafting game a try (and a rating if you enjoyed it)!

Do your best to grant every child’s wish… without any side effects!

I really loved the idea of using a flashlight to solve puzzles — it’s such a clever and atmospheric mechanic! The pixel art looks great, and the sound effects and BGM fit perfectly with the overall vibe of the game.

I did get stuck for a bit on level 2 (the one where you need to shine and unshine the shadow rocks to move forward). It just could be me but the visual hint can made to be a little clearer!

Overall, amazing work! It’s such a charming and creative entry.
