Absolutely  my favorite so far of the jam!! It was tricky enough that I needed to use the guide for just a few things, but in hindsight, the solutions were easy to see if one is observant. Plus, it really adds to the overall experience of the game that the dev is so ready and willing to offer hints and a walkthrough as well! so that the game is fully accessible!

All that said... are there any further secrets in the very top left room? I'll try to keep this spoiler free, but at the end of the game, that room was immediately the first I thought of, given its theming and the certain "moveability" in that room. I couldn't figure anything out with it, but is there anything more to find in there?

i hope you keep them the same or similar haha they're cool!

(1 edit)

The bottom is so spooky... I wonder what it means. The black orb that is uninteractable, without a way back up. Cool game!

Edit: oh... even cooler. The depth number at the deepest point is interesting. This game is understated but poetic.

Visually, I loved the backgrounds in this! Were they drawn or was it just a filter over photos, they looked very realistic but also very stylized :)

I was unable to move--stuck in place and then pushed by the other sushi until the music stopped, then i could move as normal.

This is really great, but there's some sort of movement bug that showed up for me, on the conveyor belt in the second area... It makes it difficult to play

This is pretty cool!! The concept's great, though I find myself wishing there was a little more room for precision-- maybe a displayed numeric value of R G and B, maybe if the spinning of the wheel was slower, or maybe if there was a clickable button on screen rather than just spacebar. Again though, the idea is very creative.

Ignore the ppl hating on whether this fits the theme -- it does. It's designed to build off your past attempts by using coins from the last try to affect the next. That's a loop, baby!

Probably skill issue or something but it seemed like there were some bugs where the force of the walls kept moving me after I broke them... I like the idea though

Creative, challenging! And fun too!

Super cool concept!! I think I've seen this sort of thing before, and it's implemented well here. Challenging!

The gameplay loop, while not the most interesting, is immensely addictive... great game hahaha! And great assets too

This was more fun than it looked! The mechanics were tricky even though explained, which added a good layer of difficulty. I wonder if anybody could truly crack it, and keep it all running smoothly. Would be cool to see!

Amazing game! It felt phenomenal to play, which is testament to the mechanics of the game itself, as well as the very, very nice coat of paint it's got with the graphics and music.

This game eats!!! This feels fully realized, and feels really nice to play. Surprised you've never made a racing game before!

What a fun game hahaha! The opening exposition was cool and definitely justified the rest of the gameplay, which was fun in its own chaotic way. The mechanics of each door type were fun to figure out--even with the description, the way blue doors seemed to work was trickier than I thought. Great game!

Cool and elegant game! I agree w/ some of the other commenters that I would enjoy playing more of it <3

This game seems pretty cool, but I got stuck on the level with the twin elevators and the wall that you need to get over, because the player character wouldn't go through the door (button activated, door opened and all, but player wouldn't move through the gap)

Cool game! I like the flavor that it has!! One note on the page with visual instructions: if you read the page as left to right rather than like two pages, it gives you directly wrong instructions (which tripped me up at first haha!) Other than that though, fun game :)

Super cool game!! I loved the visual style and the effects you did, and the music went with it really well! I'm not great at bullet hells personally, and even if i didn't beat the game, I had a lot of fun and liked the random effect aspect as well.

Favorite game I've seen so far!!!! Really fun, really creative, COOL style. It was fun to fail at my first try, and then improve at the controls and pick up on the somewhat subtle cues about where damage is on the golem. The controls and the fact you can't rotate the player charac are finicky,  but in a good way. It adds to the challenge, but at the same time doesn't diminish from the fun. I liked it so much that after win condition, I stuck around to finish fixing lol.
Colors, 3D +2D Art, and Music all on point. Worldbuilding in tagline was cool haha.

Wow!!! I'm really impressed at the scope of this game in the given time, you must have been working around the clock! The game was really fun, if a bit hard. I couldnt beat it, but tried again a few times. It seems a little impossible to spit at the agents if they get too close, and that was my downfall. Really great otherwise :)

My brother recommended I try this one, and it's pretty good! I like the style of assets and the hard-to-parse  PA speaker SFX lol!

Lovely game!!!I think this game was really fun and finshed-feeling! The music and its variations were perfect and the art of the background and scale models was really polished. There was a small bug in which the joints could connect crooked--I was putting the calf onto the pants, but the foot was nearby, and I ended up with the lower leg locking in place an inch from where it should be. BUT this fixed itself upon going to the paint phase  so no big deal :)

Interesting game. I like that you had turtle's scales as part of the theme tie-in! I think a little more flavor text could go a long way in making this game great.

This game was really fun!! I couldn't get past the level with the blue crate though lmao! What was the intended solution?

LMAO the bug in this screenshot had me thinking this was how to beat this one! Really good and funny game.

I like the mechanics of this game!! having the world shrink as you grow is a fun way to express the character size changing.

I feeeeel you on messing up w/ the dealine ToT we had our share of that too. I hope you can get it fixed somehow, and if not, better luck next time!!

Wonderful game!!! the music and graphics are on point! the dimension switching mechanic is interesting and I like the musical touch, but it is a tad confusing at first! Great work :)

how are the magazines found? i found one by chance i think early in west mesa, but it said it was too sticky to pick up. later i got one in west mesa through plot? there’s one in each area, i just wonder how to get them. just explore repeatedly?
