thank you so much for playing and writing such a nice comment! i really should've predicted how difficult the true ending would be to get (if i knew it'd be not just hard to get, but near impossible, i would've put a guide up day one! ;-;), but i'm glad you managed to get it regardless!

and thank you!! i had a lot of fun putting this together, especially GUI and programming-wise, so i'm super glad it shows!

all of my planned releases (at this point) take place in the same universe actually, so i'm very excited lol! i've been saying to myself, "wow, J.K'S EVERYDAY really should be out by now," because it contains a lot of the lore info that CUPITY needs to fully 'make sense', but hopefully releasing a 'post-jam' version can bridge the gap a little :)

in-universe, there’s actually a reason why this section of JKSED has photographic backgrounds! can’t say much more without getting into spoilers, but there will be more original backgrounds further along.

(out-of-universe, it’s because my background game isn’t very good, but i’ll definitely be taking your advice to heart for my future projects!)

this DEMO mainly serves as an introduction to the characters and setting, so i dialled back on the comedic and (especially the) horror elements, so the full game should be more bountiful in both of those hopefully.
