Here is a step-by-step guide to completing that section of the water dungeon.

1. After you first obtain the Blue Medallion and reach the second floor, step on this spot on the floor:

2. Then defeat the enemy in the way, and step on this floor tile:

3. Follow this path, jumping across the raised pillars, and interact with the orb.

4. Go down the newly-opened ladder, retrieve the Blue Medallion from the teleporter, then go BACK UP the ladder you just went through.

5. Walk to the big magical circle on the ground on the second floor. That's it! :)

Once you’re in the building, you have to use the Inspect Area skill, then interact with the fireplace. :)

A few people have gotten confused there, so in my unreleased developer version I’m adding another way to solve that puzzle.

Honestly, I'm surprised to hear that anyone has FOUND the item without being told about it, lol. It's pretty hidden, so you're the first person who's brought it up to me like this. Anyways, the Password Menu is basically just an item used for silliness/memes/inside jokes, and has no real gameplay purpose.

The usable passwords as of Transportal 0.5.2 are:
"LilySauce", "password", "trans", "Transportal Eggs" , "vending machine", "skirt go spinny", "hydration check",  "pride", "healing", and "penis".
Some aliases for the same effects are "1234" or "Password", "transgender", "Transportal eggs", "hydration" or "water", "flag", and "heal" or "help". The button that's labeled "remove excess silliness" should remove any effects the passwords themselves have caused, but it's probably still wise to save before messing around with the item. :)

Hello! The "A Distant Friend" quest has to be completed AFTER the Well Inspection quest.

The solution to the puzzle for getting into the well in the City of the Four is:
1. Use "Inspect Area".
2. Use "Unseal" on the STATUE near the well.
3. Use a Rope key item on the well.

I’ve had a similar issue happen before from moving individual saves around. Try doing the following:

1. Back up your entire save folder just in case.

2. Move your save folder somewhere else, so there is no “save” folder in the game’s directory.

3. Start a new game, then save the game in all of the slot numbers that correspond to the saves that you’re trying to recover.

4. Close the game, and copy + paste your actual saves in the “save” folder - replacing the new “dummy” saves you made.

5. Run the game, and see if your saves can be loaded normally.

Edit: Also, assuming you’re on Windows… I suggest having your game directory stored in a folder somewhere on your drives (instead of somewhere like your Desktop or Downloads folder).

I appreciate the kind words! Doing my best to write from a progressive mindset (i.e. one which is positive about diversity) is important to me, so I'm grateful for the feedback! And as a side note, I am trans myself. :)

About the saves: 
(I'm assuming you're on Windows)
At least when moving saves from 0.4.6 to 0.5.2, you should be able to just transfer the entire "save" folder directly into the new version. :)

Hi! While I do appreciate the input, I've also received plenty of feedback which is basically the opposite of this.
In my personal opinion, I would rather not delay releases simply for the sake of the artwork being in color. I enjoy having a playable game which gradually becomes more and more polished, while its amount of content also gradually expands.

I know some people have gotten Transportal to run on Linux, but the only OS I personally am able to currently test the game on is Windows. I don't currently have any solid plans to do a more dedicated Linux release... but we'll have to see.

Although the non-Windows versions of the game are untested, I've been told that people have gotten the game running on Android devices by using Transportal's "Web" release, as well as Joiplay.

That's about all the help I'm able to give on the subject, though - at least currently.

Hi! The changes in "IRL" are meant to be very gradual, and are locked behind story progression. I'm designing it this way since I think it works better from a writing perspective. The current Patreon-only release has another "IRL" change. :)

Hello! All of the music currently used in Transportal (aside from one small track I made which is used as an easter egg) is either a free-to-use asset, OR came with RPG Maker MZ itself.
If you're interested in finding out the sources for the music, you can look at the "Credits > MusicCredits" folder located in the game's files. :)
