this story just left me really emotionally screwed up, in the best way. kind of feeling raw and scraped out, like it took a little bit of me to make room for itself, and i don't think i'll be quite over it for a few days. thank you so, so much for making it.

from the very first choice, i felt an immediate connection to the princess - my own chosen name(lilith) was one of the options to name her, and, upon choosing it, her reasons for taking the name mirrored my own so perfectly that i was just drawn in immediately. her fears and anxieties, her struggles, felt so personal to me throughout the story that i honestly felt a level of immersion that i never really have before.

this is exactly the story i've been yearning to read since i started exploring lgbt fiction. the characters' identities and sexuality, while core to the story, are still not what the story is *about*,  the ending feels properly *earned*...it's not a happy, bigotry-free setting, but the bigotry is not the driving force of the conflict. it's not just another "out and proud and overcoming the *tragedy* of transphobia" narrative and i cannot appreciate that enough. I'm crying again just putting myself together enough to write this. this story has touched me immensely and i cannot wait to see what you put out next.
