Actuaaaally I realized I DID mess up a clue so sorry about that! Uploading a fix with a web build for easy access!

Thanks again for playtesting~

I definitely need to work on puzzle clues a lot, sorry about that! 🙇‍♀️

The book explains how to get each digit, you then need to find the three base numbers to use the formula on

Thank you so much for the feedback! I hope that my latest update is able to resolve the audio and navigation issues 🙏

That was super terrifying. perfect but terrifying. visuals were amazing, the pacing was great. damn the horror build up with minimal sound and insanely creep cards.

not over the ending in the slightest!

For such a delightful game, I think I'd be traumatized seeing some of these spooks if I was a kid!

It was a cute cozy vibe! I did run into visual quirks like bushes rendering in front of house doors and scene cleanups but it didn't impact my trick or treating!

What a wonderfully oppressive game. The mechanic was simple but had so much variety in puzzles. AND VERY GENEROUS WITH MY TERRIBLE TIMINGS THANK YOU.

Ending was great, chef's kiss!

Side note: great job keeping that build small

Best area was definitely the one with the shapes, where the blue guy was being treated harshly by the others. I'm slow so that's when it clicked to me what the game was about!

Terrifyingly twisted game! So far I've only gotten the Woodsman route ending but damn great writing! Will definitely be circling back to play the remainder of the endings.

Such a weird ride! The "no video" room creeped the hell out of me. I think it could have used with a bit more interactions in each of the room IMO but good job overall!

Cute game, loved the art and the SFX, they were really charming! It took me a while to realize I couldn't jump while holding the sheep. Surprisingly difficult puzzles, I got stuck in the third stage since the sheep were too slow or maybe I was dumb lol

Thank you so much for playing! Did the audio not work at max volume? If not I definitely gotta address that bug!

Necesito mejorar el mapa, eso es lo que pasa cuando dejas el mapa para el último día

Oh no was it broken even with max volume?

RIP Luis

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think direction in particular is something I gotta work into my map design~

Thank you for playing and appreciate the feedback! There was a goal (obtain the ball) but I think conveying it better would have helped out a lot

TYSM for playing!!!! I think I should have done a better job showing Luis's fate hehe

Appreciate the feedback and ty very much for playing!

I will be definitely reworking the controller post-jam since I agree that the current one is too janky lol

Thank you so much for playing!!! I gotta improve my map designs so they give clearer directions even while getting players lost

TYSM for playing and appreciate all the juicy feedback! I regret not spending the extra time adding a proper first person camera, 100% agree a less clunky controller would at least improved gameplay.

The landmark/visual cues is something I need to iterate on for future post-jam release.

Thank you so much for playing!

I think I took the feeling of getting lost toooo far, adding landmarks sounds like a great idea! Hopefully I get to add a few in a post-jam release!

Would love to try out yours! Adding it to my backlog so I get to it 🫡

I'd love to get more eyes on mine!

I've gotten some good feedback already but always love more!

Gorgeous game! Pixel art and music were phenomenal. Unfortunately I am as musically challenged in games as I am in real life.

Tutorial I felt threw me to the deep end from the get go so would be nice to have some sort of difficulty settings but completely understand if that goes against the intentions!

I do think the note layout may benefit from being fixed at the cost of not matching the notes? AKA more guitar hero like where the keys come up in the same place.

Creepy as heck! I was surprised by how radically different the 2 endings I got were: one seemed like a conspiracy story and the other very cosmic!
I did run into a bug twice where the Enox chat started with no text and three response boxes. Had to completely restart when that bug came up.

People do be listening to chatgpt rather devotedly! Great game, pay off to the story was fantastic.

I think my only nitpick is that the flow felt very mechanical and writing came off as slightly clunky at times. That said if anything that added more to the uncanny eeriness!

Great game! Environment was very tense, I did like the puzzles (even if the safe one broke my American brain lol). I did think all the notes were too long and front loaded. Ending was a bit too sudden as well, wish there was more to do in the mines.

That said, gorgeous looking game and very creepy!

A full settings menu in this economy? Nice

Cute game, enjoyed seeing asset packs reused to make a cohesive map! I do think it may have benefitted from a smaller map with actual NPC interactions?

Also maybe a way to combine the monster hunting more with the candy collecting. I just think trick or treating was fun hehe

Oh yeah total, only so much we can do in 7 days without going insane! For what it's worth I think you prioritized on the right things as your game was very cozy~

Till this day no one knows where Luis went in my game, not even me lolol

Nope just the one! I should telegraph it better. I expect players to keep search before realizing it's a lost cause.

Ah I was wondering when someone was gonna run into the bug falling through the floor. I discovered it too late late to fix 🫣

There was supposed to be a lake you got dragged to but it got cut due to time constraints.

Legend has it that Luis is still out there but I've also only been able to find the ball so far

Always looking to increase my backlog of games!

I will check out your game once I get through the reviews I owe some folks.

Here's my game:

There is an item mentioned in the beginning you're supposed to find but 100% agree that the level would benefit from further refinement.

Pro tip I learned is don't leave level design till the last day! 👀

Very cute game ! Really liked the characters and aesthetics. Musicbox OST was creepy.

I did think the flashlight was borderline kind of useless upstairs? I really could only see things as I turned and it wasn't very helpful otherwise. I think the collision boxes also need adjustment, I had to restart a few times because I got stuck

Unnerving game! I think I got to an ending where I had to turn around (not sure if the game crashed on me or if the game closes on completion). Really loved the glowing mushrooms, made things even more unsettling than the darkness.

While more of a UE5 issue, my computer did struggle like crazy to run it at above 25 FPS. Definitely worth considering what tricks you can do for optimization.

Also I realized why I got stuck before, I forgot to pick up the nail lol

Planning on doing a round of games after work, will try to play yours then!

Here's a link to my game based on La Llorona: Llanto

This was so delightful, really cute game. I like that the monsters are also just cute kids that also want candy. I gotta get better so I end up in the leaderboards

Woah this is quite the sleeper game, it was so much fun going around slashing folks. The animations were funny as I went around slashing (or stabbing?).

I think the game play was charming! I thought the fear was just nature but then I realized there was a monster after me, the first attacked definitely startled me!

As you get more experience, I can see how you can flesh this game out since it definitely has potential~
