ok so I got all the endings and variants, this game just consumed my life for 2 days. I love the vibe it gave... the subtle homoerotic tension... the codependency... it's simply amazing. If what I read is true then I CAN'T BELIEVE it only took you a year to finish this, the art is gorgeous, the story is catching, the characters are great...
I adore that there's not truly a "happy ending" where Austin gets "cured" or whatever, like SOMEONE'S GONNA DIE. WHETHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT.
I'm also getting "The summer hikaru died" vibes, what do you do when your best friend becomes an eldritch horror? Well help him of course. Or kill him. Or kill yourself.
I loved this soo much and even as a far fetched dream I hope to see more of them someday, it's also fine if you choose to leave the story as it is but I'm really interested in where the compliance ending could lead, would they be partners in crime? Be serial killers? Will it inevitably end up with one of both of them dying? I love to think of the possibilities.
Anyway, this was great! And really well made!!!
