I can also confirm that the game works on a GBC + EZ-FLASH Junior. Are you sure your ROM/SD card wasn't corrupted?

Late now, but (spoiler alert):

I played the Steam demo about 2 years ago and it was definitely the most fun Next Fest demo at the time. Fast forward to now and I have the full game on GOG, it's a lot of fun!

Unfortunately, I was hoping that the performance would be improved, but even my RX 6600 XT still suffers in VRAM and GPU load without upscaling on medium-to-low settings. Checking the Itch version, clearly the performance wasn't great from the start.

(Side-note: It's a shame the Linux version was abandoned, but it probably wouldn't end up running much better if better at all.)

I really feel like that's my only complaint so far. A massive part of the appeal has to be the creative direction with WOMP WOMP and how well it follows the pace of the game!

Super charming and fun, but needs cheats... final boss stage 2 is too difficult.

Thanks for the port! I haven't tested it extensively, but it looks like scenarios from current game version work too!

For future reference, base game data goes into ux0:/data/BeatBanger/data

Another great release~

Hell yeah, a sequel. I love it.

Fill the bar a little, then take off his shirt. :>

That's odd. Phones have the worst audio fidelity of the bunch, it only makes sense to create a smaller package, if anything...

X-X

Left me speechless.

Fun little game! The pacing is not as fast as expected, so it is likely harder than it may seem at first. The game suffers from fiddly mechanics and occasional pixel-perfect jumps, but the level design is very promising.

I did 100% completion (105% if you will :>) and it was a very enjoyable experience! Sure, it was frustrating at times, but the "Frustrated?" warnings imply I may not complain.
