It depends what you mean by self-hostable? You can play the game and create your own rooms from any Windows device, however, I currently don't have a way for you to create private rooms. The closest thing to hosting your own server is to create your own room.
Yeah. I haven't fully setup gamepad support, but its on my todo list. Some of the odd binds are just defaults. Crouching is temporarily disabled, because of some third person replication bugs, but I plan to add it back eventually. I'll consider what you said about a Discord server. It sounds like a good idea.
