It's really well-done, as I said in other comments, and on my SONIC'S GMTK GAME JAM 2025 BEST-OF-THE-BEST AWARDS list. If they don't like it, it's probably because they don't enjoy games like Poker Dice or Yahtzee. Seriously, your game's great! I love a good board game title sometimes, and yours is superb. Your game is literally one of two games that I rated this year (for the 2025 GMTK Game Jam) that I personally considered the most enjoyable.

Yeah, this is your usual high-quality work. It was never gonna be a contest; I'm quite familiar with the stuff you make. You knew you were a shoo-in for placement in the SONIC'S GMTK GAME JAM 2025 BEST-OF-THE-BEST AWARDS, since you're just that good, and ya went above-and-beyond anyway!
I loved last year's game, but this is on a whole other level... Not gonna lie, I seriously enjoyed this. I'd say this, and Dice Loop were the two best games I played this year, so you both absolutely deserve your awards.
You earned a SONIC'S GMTK GAME JAM 2025 BEST-OF-THE-BEST AWARD. Congratulations! 🏅

This is an interesting puzzld game, but I don't see how "loop" fits into the theme. I'm not great at puzzle games, so I'm probably not the best person to rate it. Sadly, my queue won't let me shuffle my games any more than once, so I'm stuck rating games that I can't fairly rate. I'm sorry...

This was a really solid game! I enjoyed it quite a lot. The gameplay was intuitive, and the music was really fun. My only issue at all was how you had to click on each individual panel to show the instructions in the "How To Play" menu, which I'd discovered purely by accident. The middle panel, which is not shown by default, has information essential to understanding one of this game's core mechanics: its scoring methodology.
Aside from that, this game gets a spot on the SONIC'S GMTK GAME JAM 2025 BEST-OF-THE-BEST AWARDS. Congratulations! 🏅

I couldn't help but laugh out loud when the game ended, and then say aloud, "clever!" I love how it implemented the "loop" theming, too. This is a delightful little visual novel, and it's won a spot on the SONIC'S GMTK GAME JAM 2025 BEST-OF-THE-BEST AWARDS. Congratulations! 🏅

This looks as if it's put together well. I love visual novels, so this was a neat spin on the concept. That said, I had a really difficult time figuring out how to make selections, or even how to play the game at all. This is why I rated it the way I did.

Okay, first of all, I'm not a game developer, so please keep that in mind. At best, I'm a mediocre QA tester. That all being said, I just finished QA testing this release, and submitting feedback using the Google Docs form linked to from within the game itself.
Compared with the last release I played, this is a night-and-day difference!! The gameplay's far more fleshed out than it was with the last release I played, which barely had anything in it, beyond the very basic elements of the first level.
I'd say that my favourite addition has to be the button hints for new gameplay elements. That kind of thing is incredibly-helpful to a player like me. Also, the level design was fun, and compelling. It made me want to keep on trying over and over until I got it right, which is something that usually deters me from some platformers. The addition of a hub world to connect it all was a nice touch, too.
The sound design was delightful, and I really enjoyed the music. The rat made so many cute noises, and each song fit its respective level perfectly. I deeply enjoyed my time with this release.
This is gonna be an amazingly-fun game when it comes out! And it's so well put together. The things you've added make it a totally different, far more immersive experience.
Fantastic platformer~ 🥹
First of all, like I say everywhere, I'm not a games developer. I'm here to do QA, on behalf of your colleague, Ruby Makes Bad Games (tho her games are really fun, and not bad at all, tbqh).
First of all, I like the idea of a Minecraft-inspired puzzle game. The music's also lovely, and whomever composed it really captured C418's (the composer for Minecraft) musical vibe. Almost scarily so, if I'm honest. I'm sure there are loads of people out there who would just LOVE this kind of game. Sadly, I'm not much of a puzzle games player, and I got stuck in the second stage, because I couldn't figure out how to get the key. Make of that what you will, but I got a pretty good jist of how things work. Enough to write this analysis, at any rate.
Insofar as thoughts on what can be done, I'd consider three things, for sure: making the controller interface universally-accessible (I couldn't use my controller on the home menu). I'd also add a controls mapper, or, at the very least, information about the controls (Ruby's amazing at that; I'd happily recommend her for that job), so that players better know how to play the game. Thirdly, your game, sadly, got flagged as a virus by Windows Security, and I know there's a process you have to go through in order to get that taken care of. My final suggestion is that you go through that process, so Windows doesn't flag your game.
This looks like a really promising game, and I want you to know that I'm more than happy to test future builds, though I may have to ask Ruby for help on some of the stages.
Good luck!
First off, not a game dev!
This game looks like a neat concept for anyone who enjoys high-pressure environments, which sadly isn't me, so I'll hafta keep things as objective as I can:
- I couldn't figure out how to click buttons on the circuit breaker
- I'd like to see more controls than WASD+Mouse, like maybe Arrow Keys+Mouse, and maybe controller support.
If ya like management sims, and high-pressure environments, this is a good game for you.
