I went back to play this game again and have discovered... it's a little bit too easy to win this, even on hard mode, by doing very little more than just holding the up and right button (there's one level where you go to the left too), and occasionally reacting to avoid pits or get out of puddles or maybe punch someone to get free. If you do minimal damage to anyone, it decides you're doing a "pacifist" run and it skips the snow leopard chase and the squid dog conflict, and it gave me the pacifist ending even though I did in fact punch something one time to get out of being attacked. The below screenshot is not the result of practice, of trying over and over to squeeze down a speedrun time to the minimum. This was the result of one single attempt at seeing how fast I could get through it, with no practice, and winning the whole thing in less than 6 minutes, I don't know, I wasn't intentionally going for a pacifist run, just a speedrun, but it ended up being a little too simple:

Well I've been playing it for about 2 hours and it's an interesting premise, retribution against the entities you were powerless against in the original. But I would like to point out, that I think the creators of this spinoff completely misunderstood the squid dog. The squid dog isn't supposed to be a villain or hostile. The squid dog is helping you in the original Changed. Those aren't the squid dog's tentacles that are following you around the screen and attacking you, because they're not attached to him, he's isolated in the middle and they're not connected, and you are helpless to do anything to them so the way you win the battle is by getting the squid dog to destroy the tentacles for you, because he'll smack them if they move into his reach. The squid dog never does nothin' to you but help you. All he does is lie around in the middle of the playing field petting the tiger shark like a weirdo but trying to be helpful to you.
