Hi mr devs,

I beg of you please don't listen to this specimen of nature, the game can already be finished by a lobotomized cat with room temperature IQ, making it any easier to accommodate for these monkeys would make the game fall into preschooler levels of difficulty. Keep it up much love ciao

Git gud

Thinking about it now a more reasonable price per chapter would be 5 dollars, considering you'd have to buy 4 more chapters for a complete game considering chapter 1 is free. 20$ for a full game seems reasonable, whereas if it was 10 dollars per chapter that would be 40$ total which is really high for an indie title.

I personally don't mind buying chapter 2 when it releases as long as its a reasonable price (for me that would be around 10$ max, considering you can get a 50 hours game like HK which is also indie for 15 dollars(i got it for around 7 on sale), and i would essentially not even be buying a complete game, just a chapter of it), however having the kickstarter be merchandise and not a guaranteed game is extremely off putting for me. I loved the game but when funding a kickstarter for a game I want a game, not a plushie or a poster or whatever else. Wish you the best of luck with development.

Initial Review

The game took me about 3 or so hours to complete and was overall really fun. I encountered only a few minor bugs such as a monster killing me immediately after leaving a door but when i went through it another time the monster wasn't even in the room? (It was the room next to the elevator on BF1 after turning off the lights) and another one was a plant whose requirement I've already fulfilled kept still asking for alcohol, so i wasn't sure if i did something wrong. But these bugs aren't anything egregious which would render the game unplayable, just slightly frustrating at most.

I like the story and the overall vibe of the game, so the initial impressions are great, but i usually start objectively looking at a game only after some time has passed and I've thought about it more so i might write a follow up later.

Also some tiny gripes about the game are:

Why are there traps on a completely blank wooden walkway??? (this one just didn't make much sense although doesn't really matter.)
Whats the point of the coins? I managed to find quite a few and besides getting chips and a machine eating my coin i haven't really found a use for them? Maybe i just missed it as I've only done one playthrough, or they're going to be used more in future chapters.
I really liked the "maze" section but the gate you're supposed to go through to finish off the section at first seemed like just the continuation of the fence? I got stuck there and went through all the other possible routes(at least i found all the coins) just to end up going back there again and only then realizing that I'm supposed to interact with the gate.
Maybe some other things dunno i forgot.

I hope if the kickstarter is funded that they release the rest of the game as a whole since having to play it chapter by chapter makes me forget the details which i wouldn't mind as much in a game that has a linear story with one ending but with this i kind of do.

I'm not entirely sure why the kickstarter isn't yet up since I assume more people would donate off the bat due to the excitement of the release of chapter 1 rather than later. Hopefully the full version of chapter 1 will be released soon as well since I'd love to explore the other possible endings and outcomes, i assume the random game ends i sometimes got were blocked off endings.
