Hey Harpy, thanks for the kind words! The music was made with the help of the Namco 163 chip, I used it to add one wavetable (though it can have up to six additional channels). I'm glad you liked the soundtrack!

I love this! Superb length for a jam game, simple premise that is easy to follow, but gets plenty elaborated on as you go. The graphics are wonderful, was it Castlevania you were influenced by? Either way, it's very nice on the eyes. I haven't beaten the game yet, though, I wish it was divided up into "major checkpoints" that you're allowed to continue from with a fresh set of lives, but then again, you clearly intended for this to be decently difficult, so I respect it. Wonderful job!
Fantastic game! I'll admit that I couldn't find the woman's cat and thus never made it to the final stage (maybe some day), but other than that I had a great time. I can see the references to Super Mario Bros. 2, Kid Dracula, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest and several more... you clearly know your stuff! Phenomenal job :)
Sorry I got to this one so late, it's a lot of fun! I liked the concept of gradually expanding my moveset as I went, and that boss battle? An absolute blast, he was tough but it felt so satisfying to beat him. And that music, holy moly, some of the best I've heard out of this jam. Great entry! A clear scope from start to finish, and a lot of content that was produced in such a short time. Bravo!
