so uhh, can you see this, please?:
https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/topic/6516958/3-day-game-rev...
this is the prototype i made in 3 days, the mechanic is that you lauch gears, they spin, when they hit something their direction change to where it was spinnning (doesnt count diagonal direction, only in some especific angles), reset the lifetime, and increase the speed by 0.2.
other thing that i would like to get help is: how do i fix a bug that depending on speed things just pass through the walls (that use tilemap collider) or just get stuck inside it, but you dont really need to help me with that.
what i wanted to get from you guys is: what is good, what is bad, a quick review and what i do to make the game better
yeh im not good at lore, but the mechanic is like you can throw a spinning gear that when hit something goes to a random direction and resets it lifetime but i cant even draw a gear. Enemy --->
Gear --->
Tileset ----->
.
yes, its like a steampunk game, the lore is that a guy (player) started working at a factory and wants to get out but theres robots and he cant get out, everybody robots, but theres robots made by robots, the player is a little guy with a gear head, and we just dont talk abou the rest of the sprites. Player ---- >
(also pixel art is not a need, im just more familiar with it)
nevermind, now i REALLY need your help, eu sei que tu é brasileiro então vou falar em português, eu não consigo fazer um fundo decente para o meu jogo, é um jogo com tema steampunk mas não consigo fazer um fundo direito, e os assets que acho não me servem, se você puder me ajudar me responde como, por favor
WHAT DO I DO, PLEASE GIVE ME TIPS, i already made the core mechanic but theres no sounds, VERY simple art, no background, no tilemap, no nothing, all that after 5 hours of work, i only did the core system, 1 enemy and a type of coin. PLEASE SOME EXPERIENCED DEV, GIVE ME TIPS (english not my first language) edit: thank you all, this is helping me so much so far
