I really enjoyed The Wild Land and had fun playing it. The games are pretty fast, allowing to play plenty of them and avoid having to wait.

It gave me the will to explore that were present deep inside me, it's maybe not enough rewarding though, especially since you passed the early game. There's a defense of the nature against our will of production too who add a difficulty layer in top, but honestly it's pretty simple to force brute this defence and ruin ecology.

The monsters' anger is pretty well balanced with the different difficulty modes and their AI challenges greatly the player's memory for the map and for the tactics he may use. There's smart way to recover health or fight with them, it triggers strategy for a better efficiency and a better survival.

The game let the player discover the game's mechanics by himself, but still provide a wiki on the site for more information and tactics. There's tips during the game but that are not really well timed to be honest, so the wiki is better to learn tips about the game. I recommend trying without it at first playtrough and look at it if needed or after some games, there's maybe lot of things you may have missed 👀

The final boss design is really nice, and the narrative interesting, sadly it may be too simple or too long in different scenarios, depending our avancement in the game, but it's still fun to fight.

There's also funny elements during the game that took me to smile from time to time. And of course, I melted as I noticed there was foxes in the forest ✨
