I'm playing on the WinFellow emulator.

Hey guys, thank you so much for the game. I reached the last level, killed the witch, and the game crashed to AROS. It also crashes after several deaths on the last level. Please fix it, I want to see the ending.

Cool, I'll give it a try. Congratulations on the release.

Automania Remastered Kickstarter!!!!!

This is a fantastic game. I've had it in my bookmarks for a while, and I bought it today. I have two questions. 1. I don't see a version for the Amiga, even though it's mentioned a lot online. 2. Will there be a chance to port the game to the ZX Spectrum Next? I'd love to put the physical version on my shelf next to other gaming gems for that PC.

Congratulations on the release, I hope to find time to play it. Thank you so much for the emulator version, it's very kind, since not everyone has Next yet.

ZX Spectrum Next version please ;) By the way, I could try to port the game myself, 28 MHz processor, hardware sprites, in theory it would be possible to write a game even in Basic

Great, I just realized who's writing this, I'll wait, Graeme ;)

This means you have a fixed version; the author promptly made the necessary changes to the game.

Extended emulation report. The game works as expected in the MAME emulator. CSpect has its own quirks. If I run NEX file directly, everything works fine. However, if I launch the game from a SD card, the background graphics are not visible.

Yes, the game now sounds! I see the intro screen has changed and the settings menu has been fixed. Thank you so much for the fixes! The joystick controls are excellent, although I didn't get past the second level, which is noticeably more difficult than the first. I tried playing with the mouse, but there are some oddities, such as the fact that you can only move by holding down the left mouse button. I don't know if this was intended or not. And maybe it's just my imagination, but the mouse feels better in the center of the screen than on the edges.

Cool, I wish you success, I'm already publishing an announcement about the game on the database page.

Thanks for the reply. I ran the game in CSpect and MAME emulators and the result was the same. The core has indeed changed over the years, but as far as I know, even the oldest games can be run these days. Perhaps you're using something very rare or specific for playing music. Or emulators don't yet support the required feature, as was the case for a long time with the game Atik Attack. If you run into any difficulties, we have groups on Facebook and Discord where you can always consult with experienced programmers. If you want, I'll make an announcement in the groups so that people who have computers can test the game on real hardware. I wish you success. You have a wonderful game, and I think it will eventually be high on my list to play.

I also wanted to ask: is it possible to publish a box cover in PSD format? The serial number matches the Warhawk game, and the price is high, so I wanted to change it for myself :)

Hi, thank you so much for the game. I'm already trying it out on the emulator - the gameplay is smooth and fast, I like it.

I'd like to ask. I'm having issues with the control selection screen. Specifically, the frames around the "Joystick Kempston" and "Back" text don't align with the text. I also can't remap the keys properly; many keys don't respond (for example "P").

There's also no sound or music in the game itself. Is this an emulator issue?

Yes, thank you for making the code open source; manually tweaking it isn't difficult. I suggest we discuss the new features when you have the time and inclination. I have limited experience with BASIC, but enough to help with development, or just offer some helpful advice.

Congratulations on the release; we've been waiting for it for a long time. I might be the first person to finish the demo. I suggest introducing footstep sound controls – turning them off completely or changing the frequency (ideally, this could be a single setting). Are there any plans to further refine the game engine? Or has the main idea already been implemented?

Congratulations on the release. I'm actually more interested in the Next version, but developers usually release the classic version of the game first and then the improved one, but with you, it's the other way around.

I skimmed through the third issue, but I haven't read it thoroughly yet. I need to give my eyes a rest first.

Congratulations on the third issue, I'm running to order it.

Hey, I just got home and immediately saw the release of your game. Amazing. I know you'll be adding to it even more, so I suggest you upload the next release as an archive, like a ZIP file, so you don't have to download all the files one by one, but have everything in one place.

I supported Chris Taylor's compiler and text editor. I'm confident that these two mature products will soon be included in the Next system distribution (TBBlue).

By the way, did you know that games can be run in the ZesarUX emulator?

I asked, but they haven't answered yet. I'm looking wherever I can.

WOW! I don't know who this kind person is, but his support is enough to purchase several paid Next games. Although, I still don't know when I'll start studying them in detail, as new games and apps are released regularly, and that's because not all of Simon's files have been processed yet.

Hi, thank you very much for the Next version. Could you please tell me if the game runs in the CSpeсt emulator?

Hi Rob, thank you very much for the editor. Is there any plan to support sprite creation for the ZX Spectrum Next computer?

Thanks for the feedback; I'm a big Spectrum fan too. I can promise these aren't the last changes, there will be more to come.

Super, I'll try it in the evening. It's worth mentioning that the game is still in development.

Supported Duefectu Corp, em00k's Crew, and Mike Dailly.  I'll support someone else over time, it just takes time to learn new material.

I can't believe it! I didn't think it would be out so soon. Will we have it before the New Year? I'm enjoying the paper copies of the magazine; I can say the paper quality is better than Crash Micro or Next. The only thing I'd recommend is changing the font, as it's quite thin and a bit difficult to read in this format. My apologies. I wanted to write you a thank-you note back at the beginning of the fall, but I've been so busy that I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yes, the web version works, but I'm much more interested in running the game on Next. Thanks for the dedicated version for this wonderful computer.

Thanks for the game. I haven't played it yet, but I'm really glad there's a Next version. For easier searching, consider adding tags. For example: zx-spectrum-next, zx-next, spectrum-next

This magazine is amazing. I have the first two issues. It's as readable as Crash Micro.

I wouldn't want to spread the data across different websites, because it would only make things more confusing... Ideally, I'd update the ZXDB. It would be even better to update the information on the official website specnext.com. But honestly, I don't even know when I'll get around to it, because I'm still finding games and utilities. And this is just a collection of data and files, I haven't even started studying them yet...

Wow!!! Two more people liked the spreadsheet, although it's far from final. Thank you for your trust; it gives me more room to maneuver. I'll definitely write about where I'm investing these funds.

In theory, ZZap and Fusion magazines shouldn't have anything to do with Next, so I won't rush to support them on Kickstarter.

I could consider supporting Duefectu Corp, Happy Coding, em00k's Crew, and Mike Dailly on Patreon to gain access to some restricted resources, or buy digital versions of Retro Format / Eight Bit magazines. It's a bit pricey, but they supported Next, and in addition to reviews, you can use the listings to build another game that's not yet in the database.

Hi, thank you very much for your question. The table is being built with the potential for automation. I haven't looked at the structure of the ZXDB yet, but I think I can generate data for export. Two things are holding me back right now: 1. Genres. This is a time-consuming task, as I need to study the ZXDB's genre structure and then investigate each game. 2. New additions. I'm still finding lost games and utilities, and I'm tired of wondering when they'll all run out.

I supported Crash Magazine on Patreon. I'm currently reviewing the magazines to add the necessary information to the database. I've already looked through the Next magazines, and now it's time for the Crash magazines. I have paper copies, but it's easier to read on screen, so I'll download the ones from Patreon.

I honestly didn't expect anyone to buy the database. I'm very pleased. I'll have enough money to buy and study one of the digital versions of Next's games on ichi.io. Or gain access to the restricted files on Patreon. In any case, it's a start, and that's great.  It looks like this process won't be over anytime soon :)

Your software collection also impressed me from the very first minute.
