I concur with the other commenters about adding a timer. Also adding a fail sound when you skip the right food or eat the wrong food would add to the experience for me!
Very intuitive, easy and chill game. I would've loved to see different kinds of layers and maybe variation in obstacles like dinosaur bones or some animals that live underground, etc.
I really liked the vibe and look of the game, because it felt VERY immersive.
For me the ants didn't stand out enough compared to the background, but it's not a big issue. I'd love for the character to have an even more "druidy" look :D
I really enjoyed the look and feel of the game. I didn't hate the sound effects, but I realized when hearing them I was expecting something else .. more cat-like? I dunno
I liked that it felt like a movie and it also was the right kind of corny for me with the dog. The 3rd level where it was raining all the leaves flew to the sides of the screen and started flickering ... that felt kind of buggy, but maybe I did something wrong?
I absolutely loved the music, but as others mentioned it did drown out the cozy sound effects. I am also a fan of the overall look! Got stuck at level 6 "-_-
I also found the text kinda hard to read. I tried a couple of combinations, but did not get anything beyond a slight succes and then I also wasn't sure anymore about which ingredients I had used (and what I did to them), so it lacked some satisfaction for me.
At first I was like "this is way too easy" and then I was like "oh no my oven" and "oh nooo what's this filling and what's that crust and how long should it bake ..??." and worst of all ... now I am craving some delicious pies that I do not have :(
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game and the chaos of it all. I do think some music and/or sound effects would've made it even better. I did however not feel very cozy XD
We enjoyed it very much, but got stuck on the red anchors when we could not progress once we missed one. We loved the looks of the trees and enjoyed the bubble streams.
