So soon after rotten angel?? You and the team cook unbelievably fast. I will be taking the content warnings into consideration, but for now I just wanted to drop by and say congrats on the first part of the release! :)

The logo breakdown was so interesting! I noticed the first two details you mentioned, but the fact that Enjel and Evan's names are hidden in it is so clever and absolutely surprised me.

This looks amazing!! You had me hooked the moment you mentioned the words "detective" and "found family". I will definitely be wishlisting this!

I just finished it and was definitely a ride! I forgot how much I enjoyed the menu screen changing after each playthrough, haha. Thank you to you and the team!!

A new game ahh! I'm very excited to check this out, the UI already looks so good from the screenshots!

This was so good! I really loved the choice of sound effect and bgm particularly. Juliet looks so weary :')

Every song I've heard from you guys is a BOP

Writing is definitely hard, so thank you for keeping us all updated!! Best of wishes to you for the next month :))

Ohh congrats!! That's super soon and I'm so happy you guys get to see Finding Cinderella reach others! :D

Ahh sweet!! That will be definitely be very handy ^_^

The features sound so cool!! Although I do have a small question, I don't think there was a save function in the demo so will there be one in the full release? If not, that's all good!! I'm very happy for you guys anyway :D

Glad to hear from you guys!! Seems like there are exciting things in store for the future :D

Thank you for the BOPS! Although I'm mildly curious as to how the track layering must have looked like in the end, they're both really well produced!! I really liked Bad Luck Boys especially -- I would not think twice if a real band released that song. Bernadette, I get the hype now.

No way!! It took me a while to get at first because I thought the "Thank you for playing VIBE: CHECK" line was a final meta joke referencing some nonexistent game, but once I completed the second ending it really hit me HAHA

The realization that the acronym of the game was VIBE: CHECK made me laugh so much. Well done on this one! I really liked the voice from the sky/player choice interactions :D

What a demo!! I had a lot of fun with this one :D

-Whose route would you choose first? And why?

Probably Vincenzo. Since a good chunk of the demo (the engagement) centers around him, it'll be interesting to see what comes of it. Also, he sparkles a lot.

-What's your favorite scene/event?

Tea with Estella and Henry! It's super refreshing having the original otome protagonist be a good friend and not a twist villain (haha... unless?). I also loved all the hilariously unexpected sprites (Vincenzo holding all the muffins and that one grin Edel makes).

-Are you interested in playing the full release?

Yes! :D

-Are the LIs villainous enough for you?

Definitely, in fact Edel being nicknamed the bad end butler was perfect because that was exactly what I pinpointed him to be. This one can and will murder Teresa in a heartbeat.

-Other comments:

-Teresa is an excellent protagonist. She's got a really strong and relatable voice, and it's a delight seeing her poker face contrasted with the little thought bubble chibis (brilliant idea, by the way.)

-I liked the terminology you can click on! Even if I already knew what most of the terms meant, Teresa's commentary made the explanations entertaining and smoothly linked back to the story.

-As usual, your art style and storytelling thus far is a delight (I've played through Pre-Odyssey and the jester game before this and they were both great)! I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for Teresa and the crew. In the meantime, I'll be hunting down the bad endings in the demo.

wishlisting immediately!!

Congrats on finishing Act 1! The game looks really great and I'm definitely eager to see what's in store!! :D

I finally got round to playing Intertwine (soo true, otojam had absolutely fantastic entries this year and I'm still going through them HAHA) and my gosh not only did the writing feel natural, but the art and music were both wonderful, and the RED STRING. I was sold the moment I realized the string was clickable and it's probably my favorite aspect of the whole game (taking advantage of the medium to convey the story... that kinda thing). So all the hard work in making it as clickable as possible definitely paid off!!! Thank you to the team for putting out the game!! :D

What an utterly gorgeous game! Everything was so cohesive and well put together (the wonderful sprite expressions, the little pop ups as the duo go through each of Josephine's crimes, the music). It was also a real treat to go through the concept art at the end!

I finally caught up with the update and it was a real treat!

Did you enjoy it overall?

Absolutely! I enjoyed the high school/summer vibes, the story was engaging, and I really love the main friend group. it was cool to see all the new sprites (Luke, Isabella, Faith, Coral, unnamed characters) and sprite variations (uniforms, casual, ball). Ch7 was also the perfect stopping point where it's not so much of a major cliffhanger, but still leaves you wanting more.

Who was your favorite character?

Probably Lori! But I also have a soft spot for Reese and wouldn't have minded him as a route option.

How did you find the music?

Fantastic! It worked really well with the tone of the story and I never found any of them to be repetitive/boring. I also love how that one song plays whenever Luke walks into a room so it's like he has a theme track of his own.

What are you looking forward to for future updates?

Everything that you're aiming for the full game sounds fantastic! I'm especially looking forward to more friend group shenanigans, and a Taylor POV sounds cool.

Anything else you want to tell us?

- The phone transitions back to the usual screen can be a bit janky (repeated final text or glitchy sprite movement), but they don't interfere with the story at all. However being able to see pictures sent over the phone was cool!

- I really liked all the contact photos that Lori has saved on her phone! I know they're extra effort but I appreciated them :D

- I liked the flavor text options! Knowing that there aren't going to be major negative consequences allows for a more relaxing playthrough because I don't have to think too much about picking the 'wrong' answer. I noticed that some of them are locked (probably depending on answers you've selected previously) and I like how that gives Lori consistency.

Overall the Falling Stars update was great! I'm definitely looking forward to the next update (I'm guessing there's more taylor backstory in store) but for now I hope the team has a restful hiatus! :D

Congrats on the game release!! I may not be able to play through the whole thing because of the cws, but I'm happy for you!!

Oh wow the new project looks great! And congrats on 3K downloads!! :D

I must have checked in a little too early haha! I was scrolling through Otome Jam 2023 entries about two weeks ago, but I think I missed Meteor Shower while I was there XD

Did I hear that Falling Stars is out? With a full 88K words to enjoy?? I am scrambling to see all the new things in store as soon as I can; a huge huge congrats to the team for making it to this point!! :DD

Good audio is hugely underrated because good audio is meant to be unnoticeable (aiding in the immersion of the story). The behind the scenes tweaking is hard work, but this was a fun read! I probably wouldn't have realized the sfx used were edited or homemade :)

Demo 2 looks great so far! Will definitely be giving it a go :D

The little updates are still a treat to read through! please do take care of yourselves though!

Devlogs are cool! Every once in a while I'll check back in to see how Meteor Shower is doing, and it's always fun to see a new post in the devlogs. Your team always delivers with fun behind-the-scenes content :)

I really enjoyed this project! The UI was gorgeous, the cast likeable, and the art wonderful. I also thought the workarounds for coding the trial minigames were executed well. Overall I definitely had a lot of fun with this game and I applaud you for accomplishing it all on your own!

(It's been a while since the game was released, but I also wanted to notify you of a minor bug in the ch4 trial that prevents you from hiding the text box. I just wanted to be able to see the full CGs, but that didn't interfere with my understanding of the story at all!)

Just popping in to say that I enjoyed Mythic Meetup immensely! I love the family/friendship dynamic between the mods and the fact that you get to know the rest of the mythics on the server throughout the routes. Thank you to the team for creating this! Now, onto Nature's Lament :D

The background on sprite variation and dynamic poses was fascinating to read about! Thank you for sharing that (+ your thoughts on VN as a medium; I find it to be such an interesting way of telling stories) :D

For an April Fool's project, this is so well made! I loved the UI and pixel art as well as being able to slowly gather a little crossover party of travelers :D

I really enjoyed reading your behind the scenes posts! I've played through both of your games and there's a certain charm to be found in both. Although coding is not always enjoyable for everyone, I commend you for sticking through it!! Thank you for creating both games :D

This was a really cute game! I loved the style and the use of color in the art :)

1. I think all of the characters have their own charm, but probably Al.

2. I think the moment Al gives his full name was when I was like, ah this kind of humor. It's just so straightforward that I found it hilarious. I also think it's funny that slapping Graham is basically followed up with biting Ine. Protagonist just loves causing chaos wherever they go

3. I'd be down for that! It could be fun to see the cast interacting with each other as well.

Thank you for making this! :D

This was a wonderful demo! I enjoyed all the friendship shenanigans, the music, and the nostalgic feel of the story. The fact that the sprites had so many poses kept things less static as well. Keep up the good work!! :D

This was really cute! I loved the friends and the overarching story <3

This was short, but really sweet! I loved the characters, art, and voice acting. Fantastic job to everyone involved! <3

A lovely little short game! The cast of characters and their friendship have my heart, and the art style for the 2D sprites is very charming. McGuire is such an interesting town and I enjoyed discovering the lore around it!

The writing in this demo is so delightful and witty! The art style is gorgeous and I love how each character feels fleshed out and distinct. Isabelle is a brilliant protagonist and I am eager to see what's in store for her in the full game :D
