Probably the best "10 years out of hand" anyone could hope so. The fact I have not heard anything about this game until I randomly found it on itch.io should be a CRIME.

There is something about hearing your spine crack when landing at high speeds with the prop-grabbing mechanic that makes it really satisfying to me.
The ammo and weapon grabbing mechanics are also quite interesting too, and I love how the body-swapping allows you to unlock new starting characters when swapping to new enemies you have not seen before.

It is rather confusing to navigate at times because of the limited graphics but damn this is actually pretty surprising and to some extend even more charming than the original DOOM.

While the balloon and cow transformations make me feel a bit uncomfortable and the tf fetish is a bit too blatant for my own liking at times, this is genuinely a pretty good puzzle platformer that combines its mechanics pretty well and has a really good sprite-work to boot!

I also find the concept of the story quite cute, with many of the mechanics presented being diegedtic since the playable character is following the rules of an actual obstacle-course game created as a birthday gift.

Also "I'm not your mom" as a premeditated response to any softlock criticism got a chuckle out of me.

This is indeed a game about grooming dogs

This felt like a pretty interesting experience, the game looks quite pretty too.
