Also, it seems it may have been on GitHub before. To see if I was crazy, I asked Copilot and found this:

"History:

  • The source code was once hosted on GitHub, but is no longer publicly available.
  • There’s a thread on itch.io’s Redlabs Update Utility community where someone mentioned they had seen the source on GitHub years ago but didn’t download it at the time.
  • Rugbug has a Patreon post that references the source code, but it’s locked to patrons."

It probably was on GitHub, but I can't be sure. 🤷

Interesting; I was pretty sure I had found it before. Oh well. Either way, thank you! Before I purchase it--how is it different from the Advanced version?

Hello RugbugRedfern!

This update utility has some functionality that I would like to use. I had looked at the source code for it on GitHub a few years ago, but I had never downloaded it, as I never thought I would want or need it. Looking for it today, I have found that it is no longer accessible to the public. Is there any way I could get a copy of the source code? I would not distribute it but purely want it for my own development purposes.

Kind regards,

LegominerJ

I will look into this, thank you!

Hello RugbugRedfern! This game integrates some functionality that I want to replicate in some of my games; would you be willing to share the source code for the online interactions, sharing data between computers, hosting a server, etc., or point me to a tutorial that covers these things?
