Hello Catsby, glad you enjoyed the general vibe of the game! The mist seeds are collected from the hands of the fallen captain at spawn.

We initially planned for an interactive sequence that would prompt you to pick it up before moving on with the game. Sadly, we weren't able to implement it in the final version, leading to some confusion.

Hey LxThree, thank you for playing Red Mist Alpha! Initially we intended to have a cutscene that would prompt the player to pick the moon seeds up after interacting with the first audio tape. Unfortunately, it did not get implemented due to several reasons. But if you're wondering where they are, you can manually pick them up in the hands of the fallen Captain at spawn.
