TBH this feels like 40K with legally distinct waifus, and I'm all for it.
I was humming so many 80's songs reading through this because of the title. So many word choices that were just pop songs from that era in the first few chapters.
Please, if you're not going to give us the ability to walk away from someone being rude, don't pretend like an option is going to allow us to.
