I went back today on a pre made save by you and yes it turns out to be and old build save bug when fighting him.

1: it starts after the scene of him telling us its too late his plans are in action

2:yes

3:yes I started playing during 2.3 and brought my old save Over. I saved in pirate town replay gallery.

4: yes I am playing on a gaming laptop.

5:No I win the fight every time especially after the reveal of who runt whiner is

This is all during the first encounter with him on golorock Island

Oh another note, When using wulfricks taunt against him it uh Spoils the reveal. I'm unsure if that was intentional or not.  This happens during phase 1 of his fight

So after beating runt whiner the game seems to  black screen after wards and ask to refight him while having later commands and dialogue.  beating him the second time after the first black screen seamingly freezes the game.
