Very fun! I liked all of the levels and how the difficulty scaled between each one. A few things I want to say:
The hitboxes on the cars were very unforgiving. I think you should make it a bit more obvious to the player that they were hit because I often felt like I shouldn't have gotten hit when I did.
While you did have multiple little guys in the game, most of the time you just combine them together to get to a hole or past a car. I think you couldn't went further with the theme and made certain puzzles with them, like having one of them go up to press a button which will unlock a door for the other, or maybe you have to sacrifice one so the other can progress.
Adding a bit of audio can really make your game more immersive. Even just a simple jump or hit sound effect is enough. Audacity is a powerful free audio editor and it's easy to use, maybe check that out if you haven't already?
Anyway, I still think you did an amazing job with this game! It was very fun, so congrats!
Very nice entry! The gameplay was simple but smooth and intuitive, and it seems very well balanced in my opinion. I do think, however, you could've been a little more creative with it by expanding more on the theme. I don't really view the little guys as "Little Guys" and more as just a powerup to help me with the main task of killing the enemies. Besides that, I think you did an amazing job with this game, so congrats!
Thank you so much! The flea games are actually what inspired most of this project, so I’m glad I found someone who knows about it
On the other hand, I wish I could’ve added more visuals/feedback, but I’m still fairly new to making games and I’m still learning a whole bunch. School also takes up a lot of time so that doesn’t make it any easier haha
Anyway, thank you for playing and I’m glad you found it fun!
Oh I didn’t know about that invisibility bug, thank you for telling me. Now that I think about it I think I just forgot to reset the invisibility of the ball when the game resets which sucks.
Also, the launch angle I decided to make random so you couldn’t just keep it on the same wall the whole time, so I can see why it feels unfair but it also makes it so you have to have quick reflexes :)
Anyway, thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback!
Could you explain more what you mean by the timer does not reset? I have it so that the timer doesn't reset when you hit the ball, if that's what you mean? I only have the time and game reset when the time runs out or the ball falls on the ground. Anyway, thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback :)
Wow! This game had some very cool mechanics, and I liked all of the different blocks that attack you (sort of like the ghosts in Pac-Man) as well as the laser. I did find the tutorial a little complicated to read, and there isn't any audio, but nonetheless, for the first game I played for this jam and the first game you've made for a jam, it was very good!
The umbrella only comes at score 80 I believe, and to get rid of the bugs you have to click them. As for the sound and the game not loading, that is very weird. I've hardly ever used Firefox in my life, so it could just be a problem with that search engine. Anyway, thank you for trying out the game and for the feedback :)
