I am not using Unity, I work with Aseprite, and used 64 by 64 with padding of 32 in between,
at 64 by 96 without padding, I get the same behavior. 

It seems to be very subtle 'missteps' frame by frame.

I could send you an animated gif of how it looks so you can see it.

What is the size of each individual item in the sprite sheet? Is any padding applied? After parsing it has a weird vibration, because the center is moving. I guess I have my tiling sizes wrong.
