Nice entry, i really liked the lovely graphics and the gameplay as was quite fun, could be a nice small mobile game with some improvements. It would be helpfull when switching the items would make a sound as well. Check out our entry for the GMTK 2023! :)
I like the idea of combining some mini games to a little story, its a cool and funny idea, but i didnt understood some games. What can i do when the crown game shows up? Seesm "wasd" is not doing anything.Check out Ruins of Melog! (GMTK 2023)
I really appreciate the art style, especially the sand shader and effects. Also I mentioned some lovely details like the animation when you are falling to deep, so things made it easier to get into the world. Which is also pretty cool, but I would like to get some lore input in the future. It would be nice to explore the world and get some infos about the history of the ruins.
Some further aspects:
the controls feel very natural
i got some perfomance issues, which should not occur with my setup. Maybe its is because everything is loaded at once and lots of things are animated
Which is very nice, I love the weather effects, waterfalls etc, makes a good atmosphere
What happens after collecting all stamina shards? Is there more to collect / explore?
While carrying a heavy block I could run faster with the 'A' Buttons, which didn't feel intended
I want more blocks! Sometimes I searched to long for a block.
Top Ergebnis, ist das Jam Spiel das ich beim testen am längsten gespielt habe. Funktioniert auch einwandfrei und der Stil ist stimmig, die Mechanik mit der Angel gefällt mir sehr.
Sehr coole Idee! Das Gameplay ist auch rund und funktioniert top, die Grafik dazu ist stimmig, gute Arbeit! Einziges Manko war für mich, dass es recht schnell langweilig wird, dafür war die Vertonung sehr unterhaltsam :D
