hey ummm this is going to be a long and personal comment but:

first of all, i fell in love immediately with the amazing graphic and soothing music and the fact that one could feel how passionate you are with the project. then i fell in love with the world you built, the characters, the way one could just live here day by day by catching critters, fishing and carrying a shovel around like a scrooge looking for more money into their 1000 coins collection. i know there's more to the game because i could see the farming and crops mechanics? but i'm happy to just live like an animal crossing character in a pixel world of lovable monsters. and i want to thank you for that :).

i uh, haven't been doing that well mentally with everything going on in the world, and i get overwhelmed very easily with my existence and such. so to have a place where i can just.. exist with no question ask (well not really, most of them still ask why did a human come here but to be fair, i'd ask too). i find it extremely relaxing and soothing to just come and fish or talk to people if i want to, and it helps that everyone kinda welcome me with open arms and it helps even more that Yggette seems to be extremely happy with me waking up every morning so she could say good morning to me. thank you for such sweet dialogue. it helps ease some stuff off my heart to see someone greets me with such genuine love.

i bought the game along with the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality and wasn't an itch.io user before but i made the account just so i could leave this comment. you made something beautiful with your hard work that brings comfort to others and i want to thank you for that, thank you very much for that. i'll be following your development and buy the game again here on itch.io since you mentioned that it 'benefits you more by allowing you a bigger cut of the purchase'. have a lovely year, Josh.
