Thank you for this kind comment. I’m really happy you enjoyed the overall presentation of the story so far. A huge amount of care went into building the world and mood of the VN, so hearing that those elements stood out to you genuinely means a lot!

And honestly, your point about the MC discovering the truth so early is completely understandable 😂 That was actually a very intentional choice on my part. I wanted the story to focus less on whether Adrian would discover what his hosts are, and more on what happens once he does. A lot of the tension and character dynamics later on come from him knowingly living in that environment rather than being completely unaware of it.

I also liked the idea that the truth is almost lingering in the air from the beginning. These guys aren’t perfect manipulators, and there’s something a little fun and exciting about warmth, comfort, and danger all existing in the same space.

The title sequence is an original track, and so is the track for the opening sequence. Written specifically for the game :) Means a lot that you liked it so much!

Seeing you connect with the characters, atmosphere, music, animations, and overall vibe of the game is honestly the biggest compliment I could ask for. I put a huge amount of care into making each character feel distinct and alive, so hearing that came through for you genuinely makes me really happy. And the fact that Daemon’s song stuck with you absolutely made me smile 😭

Thank you as well for the suggestion about hiding the text. That is a feature already built into the demo. Just press H on your keyboard and it will hide the text box. I'm working on some code to allow for hiding it on mobile too, so that should be ready for the next official update.

More than anything though, thank you for the kindness and patience in your message. I've been feeling a little overwhelmed with all the comments. I didn't expect this level of positivity for a little demo. I promise I’m going to keep giving this project the care and time it deserves.

I'm happy you can see all the effort I put into creating everything :) While Straight!? wasn't a direct inspiration, I do love that game along with other popular queer VNs and I wanted to try and deliver the same quality :)

I've had a few comments about the train hard cuts. I was trying to match it up to the music to mimic the stuttered effect. I will probably take it out when I do the next update. Also, I am not an animator at all. Getting the little bit of water movement I did was a miracle in itself haha!
