I really need to ask about this. I'm wanting to participate in this jam because I started a project about a month ago, but progress is going really, really slow. I want to join a game jam to push myself to actually finish the prototype, because so far, I'm not close to doing so.

I just need to know if this is okay. I'll be using a custom game engine and my game may not fit the theme very well since I already have decided what I'm making. I can definitely remove my jam from ratings and competition if that's possible, since my goals are mostly to just finish the prototype.

Very serious.

Yes, it took me a moment to figure out what I was doing. But then I got it.

Also, props for using a framework!

It took my a while to find the car. It was pretty small and didn't contrast much with the environment.
Sometimes the controls were hard to understand too, but I actually though it was decent. I like the idea of trying to do as many donuts as possible in a given amount of time.

I really liked this one. My only complaint is with the super floaty controls. Though, that may be a design choice for the early game and the grappling hook didn't seem to really be long enough to reach anything.

I don't know if it's just me, but I didn't know what I was doing.

I'm surprised how challenging this is for its simplicity. Or I just have a bad reaction time.

Lol they weren't rodents. They were just businessmen, but the art style was very low resolution and I'm sure my actual art skills didn't help any. I definitely agree that the gameplay wasn't that riveting. I was happy to just complete something though.

UI was definitely something I need to work on. I didn't do enough research, and I thought I was just going to use ImGui since it's a portable UI framework, but I realized the version of the actual game framework I was using doesn't support it. So last minute I had to pull together some janky UI.
