Hey! I just wanted to say I had a great time running your module last night and I've written up a little review of the module on my blog: https://superhardscifi.bearblog.dev/one-shot-review-mothership-blackout/ I can say from the outset that the review is pretty glowing, I was super impressed!

Cheers!

Sounds very cool. I like how there are actually quite a lot of people around, giving it a disaster in progress feel. Look forward to running it!

Ran this tonight and had a blast! It felt like a very nice mix of sci-fi and gothic horror. I really loved the decoherence stuff by the way, the slowly increasing maximum wounds, the changing of skills, trinkets, names, etc... was just fantastic. I think that maybe rolling 9 could be a bit more vicious though!

I did have a couple of questions that confused me a little, how were we supposed to explain the tripwire flash bangs? Were these supposed be set by the previous crew?

Oh and I wasn't quite sure how to use the Imps. Did you intend them to be just roaming around the ship on Thermis but then not roaming on the other ship?

Anyway, I really enjoyed it and so did my players, nice job!

I've uploaded an annotated, large version of the minimap to the download files. Hope this helps!

sure, what would you like? A full page, simplified version of the map?

Ran this twice last month for two different groups and had a blast! One group was possibly the most lucky players I’ve ever seen as they managed to actually kill the monster and the assistants. 😅 I really liked the table of scientist jobs based on the expert skill chosen. Such a good idea.

One thing I did add to this scenario though were some vents for players to get out of the basement and to the top floor if the lift became inoperable or too dangerous. Unless I’m being daft and missed another way out?

I've added an unannotated, printer friendly version of the map to the download files for you.

Oh yeah, sure!
