I had fun even though I had to google translate every paragraph. However, the various events don't match up (I often got an event that said "the golden core is complete and the nascent soul is about to form" when I was already in the divine transformation stage, or I picked a background that said I started from a cultivation family, then later I got an event about being abandoned at birth and finding my biological family, or it referred to my fellow sect disciples when I hadn't joined the sect -- I got an event for joining the sect later.)

Also, it would be nice to have different portraits for the player characters that change as they grow up and become more powerful, to reflect the game's progression and the chosen backgrounds of each playthrough.

Overall, this was an interesting way to spend an hour, thank you for making it!

Cool idle game, but I am having a lot of issues trying to get the cloud saves to work. I'm using chromium based browsers on Android. A few attempts got me to back up my saves, but when I try to sign in later on another browser (or even the same browser after I switched from google to github and back again), it does nothing. I'm using the sign in button, not the link account button. I'd appreciate a way to download a save locally and to upload them later since now I'm basically unable to use both my google and github accounts for backing up. (I'd also appreciate a note that if you sign into one account and then try to link another, it signs you out of the first one and also removes you from the leaderboard. I'm the kind of player who obsessively backs up her saves in multiple locations, so this really tripped me up, in addition to migrating to another browser since the one I started on didn't allow progressive web apps.)

Also, the guide doesn't really explain anything about the various systems, how they do or don't relate, and what the point of each system is. It's led to a lot of annoying mistakes because I have no clue what I'm doing.

I think you might want to rename the zip file and the folder with the name of the game, it's a little confusing.

I got to the end of the mine; this is a really cute demo and I can imagine it'd be very relaxing to play when the full game is released! I had a little bit of confusion at the beginning about which button to press to start the game and also what the keys were for moving, mining, etc.

I also like to put text speed at the fastest possible because I read fast, but I think it caused the information page that shows up when switching characters to also show and disappear really quickly.

Anyway the art is really beautiful, the sounds are cute, and the background music is relaxing and fitting. It's a neat game and idea!

Good luck!

It's okay, I figured that was the case, but since it's HTML5 I figured I'd try it, and literally everything else works, even if I just have to tap a few times carefully, so I thought I'd let you know

It's a very interesting prototype so far and I'm curious to see how it'll develop!

Playing on mobile in landscape mode, very strange thing is that I can't access the Thunder area (4th area). It deducts 7 days from my year every time I tap it, but nothing happens otherwise, so I'm stuck at peak foundation (definitely gave me a slight sense of confusion and despair watching my lifespan run down and nothing I could do about it... realistic lol)

I'm absolutely in love with the art, design, and UI. Haven't read through much of the story but I thought I should gush over the art for now.
