The most fun game I've played so far during this game jam. The screen wipe effect, combined with the sound, is really cool, and the gameplay is clear and challenging. I wish there was a reset button though, since I found myself just dumping all tiles onto the puzzle after one misplacement, just so I can restart the level. I can see myself buying and playing this game.
The gameplay is fun, although for the final boss I could just sit outside the walls and kill him since I found the attack timings and overall strategy pretty confusing. I agree with the other commenters that it would have been way better to either full-screen the game or zoom out the perspective more, I kept clicking out of the game. The little comic cutscene in the beginning was really cute, and the music adds to the atmosphere too, it's just unclear if it's self-made or there is some credit due there.
Solid gameplay, and a wide variety of enemies if you include the aggro'ed villagers once the corruption meter fills up. I will also mention that the special ability should've been a little harder to spam since for the final demons I didn't even need to melee. More challenge from the enemies would have been also nice.
