Hello, I used Princess Internet Café's Binksi Visual Novel Template to create this.

Hello, the music was taken from Discmaster. This specific audio can be found here: https://discmaster.textfiles.com/view/17308/action.zip/obake.lzh/obake/Music/sil...

Such a gently sinister story, so full of textures and primal sensation!

I absolutely loved this game. The layering of the translations, the slow morphing & act of creation. Incredible work.

This was so adorable!

10/10, made me laugh

Beautiful art and incredible story - a really wonderful experience overall!

A really neatly tied up piece. I thought you captured both voices excellently, from their friendly banter to the emotional exhaustion of the situation.

I also used to write these exact same essays in primary school & I love how this one breaks from the formula and goes wild with it! I also really enjoyed the slow descent into actual horror, I thought the pacing was great.

The graphics, the music, the conversation – all so gutwrenching and made me want to pull my hair out (in a very good way). Incredible job!

Really enjoyed the surreal storyline and the graphic style! Now I'm really craving an egg sandwich...

Loved the style and the story!

198780 was my high score after trying this twice! This was fun :)

Reminded me of playing one of those games on the in-flight entertainment (in a very good way)! The buttons were very satisfying to press.

Fun little game! Played really smoothly and I went through it a couple of times to win :)

incredible sense of atmosphere & mystery

This was incredible! I loved the poems somehow never quite touching, the longing conveyed through shape and form as well as in text.

I really liked the atmosphere of the game, and actually felt that it worked really well being so abstract, rather than bogged down in world-building details. Focusing on the sensation of things, rather than why the narrator is here in the first place heightened the spooky factor in my opinion. Interesting interpretation of the songs too!

That exact story was a big inspiration for this game! 😄 I gave it a little shoutout in the playlist/credits area as well. It's so good, I've read it multiple times since it was first published!

really enjoyed every aspect of this, and the dialogue was so fun & snappy!

Super glad I persevered with refreshing the online mac system and got this to work! I loved the in-depth world you've created & the graphics really complimented the vibes. I was a bit surprised when it ended so abruptly but am very much looking forward to trying the full game in the future & maybe getting to stare at the sun ?!

I was saving this to play as a treat after rating nearly all the games because I had such high hopes & I was not disappointed at all!!! Loved the interweaving stories, the character voices, the innovative way of mixing the different stories... I can't imagine how much work must have gone into this but the premise & the execution is incredible!

It was fun trying to figure out all the endings to this one! I liked the zany tone and approach :)

I thought that this was really poignant and made great use of the song.

Super interesting concept, I hadn't heard of the holographic universe theory before and I enjoyed the atmosphere you created very much!

Intriguing concept & setting, and I loved the use of imagery to complement the game.

I thought the way you used the song was very apt & the game had a nice poetic beat to it!

Thank you for playing & for your thoughtful comments!

thanks for your kind words & for spotting the typo!

Hey! Thank you very much for your kind words & I'm glad you enjoyed the story :)

Believe it or not, this was actually supposed to be a Twine-in-Decker game vs. a faux Decker aesthetic in Twine... but I was running short on time and the learning curve on using Twine in Decker was too steep :( maybe next time, as I love the hypercard look!

Interactivity is a fair point and also another thing that suffered due to time constraints - thank you for the notes and I will keep it in mind, as that's definitely one of my weaker points!

I'm not usually a big parser player so I really, really appreciated the button-style approach! This was an enjoyable experience, I thought the atmosphere and mystery were both great.

Beautiful writing and great sense of style throughout. The concept was intriguing & I thought the piece's strength was the texture of the world you created.

absolutely gorgeous. loved the journey, the act of creation, of slowly moving through this strange yet half-familiar world.

Loved the discordant theme of the music and how it tied in with the narrator's desperation. Very intriguing!

A delightful romance & intriguing concept!

really fun to play & such playful take on the songs!

vibes: impeccable

concept: incredible
