Is there an option for the author to publish the default script and sprites for each type but in the form of a mod so that it would be easier for people like me to create a mod?

I want to make a mod, I can make an interesting sprite or animation, but I'm bad at programming, and I won't understand how to create a mod for this game at all, so I'll wait until someone makes a mod and I'll use it as a template
