Alright so after discovering the new update, I can tell it was a lot of fun! Mai is such a great new major character, with many recipes and new possibilities, and also the new area where she is looks so beautiful too!

Though I gotta say, the new dancing game you can do with her is awesome don't get me wrong (since I'm someone who loves rhythm games so much and is generally pretty good at them).

But, the achievement where you have to get a "Pure Light" in at least hard mode ("Pure Light" meaning to get every note as "PURRFECT") is VERY hard. Like, even as someone who is good at rhythm games etc, I still struggled so much to get that achievement.

I don't know if other people here also struggled to get that achievement, but I think it needs a little nerf to make it more bearable to obtain.

Outside of that, the dancing game is still very awesome imo.


Another thing I wonder is how the Pikajota Mushroom's effect works on the player.

Like, yes I know our character gets more needy and horny, but what and where does it exactly change?

And, does any major spirit also get more needy and horny if we give them some food we cooked with the Pikajota Mushroom?


Also here are some suggestions I thought to give for the game:

- For the mating scene maybe add doggystyle in which it's our player who gets to take the spirit from behind (basically the perch one, but switched). And also maybe threesome-mating where we mate with two spirits (meaning new positions)? Though I understand it may take a lot of time to add this since I assume it's not easy to code something like this.

- More customization for the player itself

- I'm assuming it's already planned, but it would be nice to have more events.

- Maybe a major moki character (because we do not meet much of the one moki who needs a spirit to save Niwen).

- New zones to make the map more complete to explore.


Here's all my suggestions, which I know each one of them takes a lot of time to add into the game, but feel free to give your thoughts on each of them if you want!

Anyways, I really enjoyed getting back into this game to discover the new update and also the new major character Mai too. Already looking forward to the next updates in the future months too!

If you all look at one of the comments below, one of them asks when the update is, and Whitecrocus said "End of June most likely"

"Most likely" isn't a 100% guaranteed right away, and you guys know how much effort and dedication it requires to be able to make one update of a game as amazing as The Spirits of Sabil, so you need to remain patient.

Yes, he did say on the most recent post (being: "Game Status Update - 6/4/2025") he planned to release the update by the end of June, but remember that it's not impossible that he may have gotten any unexpected stuff going on in his personal life or work too.

So yeah, the point is: If you are patient enough, you'll be greatly rewarded. ^^

Don't worry WhiteCrocus, take your time as long as you need so that you can make the best for us. That's why "Patience is the key to reward". ^^

I must say I admire a lot the amount of effort and care you put in your game that I love so much (as well as all the art pieces I've seen in e621).

And also take care as much as possible for your health Whitecrocus, we don't want you to hurt yourself because we love you. And that your amazing game is growing over the months and years.

Been a year now that I've discovered your works, and I'm glad you are still my Top #1 favorite artist. You are such a talented artist and I'll continue to support you as much as I can.

The idea of multilingualism and the other one to make "live" simple animations to make the characters more alive are both really good. 

Hope Whitecrocus accepts your help for his amazing game. ;)

This V0.2.1 update was such a very good one. There is a lot to talk about (yes it's me Kuroso from e621):

(If you are a random user that hasn't played yet the new V0.2.1 update of "The Spirit Of Sabil", don't read the following of this comment because you might get spoiled)

To be honest, each time this game gets an update, I redo everything from the beginning (since I play on the web version) because I really enjoy playing this game. ;)

So first of all, new dialogues, new background/design, new game title name and the achievement system are really awesome. ^^ (Here's a screenshot down below of my last achievement which I obtained after completing all of the other achievements).

Since I often check your Patreon profile on Kemono.Party to see if there is any newest post from you, I saw that you wanted to know how long it takes for us to speedrun all of the achievements. So for my case, I completed all of them after around 7-8 hours.

I mated with all of the 3 spirits of course (Ori, Flo & Sean); raised relationships to the maximum (200) for each Spirit; getting a blessing from the Spirit Tree after giving a hundred SLO, discovering the new mini-game, the new activities and etc.

Also, each of the news special events were awesome too, ESPECIALLY the one with Ku. That one special event was a masterpiece. I don't even have words of how beautiful it was and that just melted my heart seeing Ku & Ori hugging each other since they didn't meet after a long time. >w<

The "Buckets of Fun" event was also very good too, and so wholesome and funny at the same time. You sure got me here to realize I was just doing a circle just to know that the barrel was for Sein himself. I couldn't stop myself laughing and thinking about that one event lol. You are a genius. x)

Anyways, that update was a very wonderful one and I already can't wait for the next one (gotta be patient of course).

But don't push yourself too hard to make updates of the game and art pieces as fast as possible for us. If you need to take a break from your game and the arts/animations, you can. We will gently wait for your return. ;)

Now to finish with, thanks to the fans (including me) and all of the patrons that helped Whitecrocus for all of their support.
