thank you so much! I consider it a compliment to doubt whether it's pixel art xD it's only 256x256 so nothing crazy

huge respect for the amount of effort you put in, and the result is amazing! two things I noticed were a few mixels (pixels with different sizes put together) mainly in the big eyeball, which can stand out. and a couple of frames where the camera movement is inconsistent, sometimes freezing, changing speed, or even going back. but if you're manually shifting the layers on every frame it can be easy to miss, god knows it's happened to me too when I tried to do the same thing before xD but yeah, great job overall
this looks amazing, great job on the composition! maybe more variety in the hands could help, and less details on them so they don't steal attention from the guy in the middle. I think the pillar he's standing on is perfect as is, it's got a lot of variety for the hands and it's the main focus so it benefits from the detail, but the rest of the piece being as detailed may be making it a bit noisy. though you'd have to test and see, maybe it's better this way xD
bruuuh, took me a minute to realize that was juniper xD great job on the designs and the animation works really well. the one thing I'd say is try to make everything further from your subject darker and less detailed. you want your main focus to be in the middle so the further you go away the darker it gets and the less details you try to convey, that way you avoid making the piece noisy. this can also apply to the subject itself, anything in the back should be darker and less detailed (for example the legs in your piece as they shift to the back). as for highlights, try to use them sparingly so that they're more effective.
thank you, that's such a unique thing to notice!
I originally planned to make it more melancholic, but in order to do that I would've need a lot more time and skill, neither of which I had xD but this also turned out much better than I expected, and the concept itself is still sad so it serves as a nice contrast with what's actually being shown
thank you so much! and yeah, that leg really does stand out like a sore thumb, I almost decided to remove it entirely, but I think the motion helped distract from it at least a little bit
also, I didn't wanna point it out so as to not ruin the illusion, but I'm so glad someone picked up on the fact that this was the left leg and it didn't make any sense for the right one to not be visible 😂😭
