thank you so much! I consider it a compliment to doubt whether it's pixel art xD it's only 256x256 so nothing crazy

thank you! all I needed was my hand and a lamp, I should do that more often xD

really cool composition and the colors work well together! one thing I'd pay attention to in the future is shading, as it is right now it doesn't look like the spots further from the glowing sword are darker, so they come off as a bit flat. I'd also look into pillow shading.

literally typed that first sentence then saw your comment xD

damn, you actually finished, awesome work on making all biomes so unique! and I love that fire animation, omg

really love the amount of details you managed to put in, you're really good at making scenes that seem like they belong in a game

really cool style, love the framing and the shading on the flowers

I'm guessing these are buildings, but they're a bit hard to discern

huge respect for the amount of effort you put in, and the result is amazing! two things I noticed were a few mixels (pixels with different sizes put together) mainly in the big eyeball, which can stand out. and a couple of frames where the camera movement is inconsistent, sometimes freezing, changing speed, or even going back. but if you're manually shifting the layers on every frame it can be easy to miss, god knows it's happened to me too when I tried to do the same thing before xD but yeah, great job overall

this looks amazing, great job on the composition! maybe more variety in the hands could help, and less details on them so they don't steal attention from the guy in the middle. I think the pillar he's standing on is perfect as is, it's got a lot of variety for the hands and it's the main focus so it benefits from the detail, but the rest of the piece being as detailed may be making it a bit noisy. though you'd have to test and see, maybe it's better this way xD

ain't we all 😜

thank you, I'm surprised myself xD

bruuuh, took me a minute to realize that was juniper xD great job on the designs and the animation works really well. the one thing I'd say is try to make everything further from your subject darker and less detailed. you want your main focus to be in the middle so the further you go away the darker it gets and the less details you try to convey, that way you avoid making the piece noisy. this can also apply to the subject itself, anything in the back should be darker and less detailed (for example the legs in your piece as they shift to the back). as for highlights, try to use them sparingly so that they're more effective.

damn, that's really kind of you to say, I appreciate that :) and I didn't think it'd be possible either, I guess you never know until you try!

I'm amazed how you managed to make it feel so alive with so few frames, I love it

pretty cool idea for the transitions, and the fire's really well done, especially on the hands!

tysm! surprisingly, my hand is the only one I looked at, just took one video and it was enough xD

thank you so much!! I learned a lot of new things making this so I'm very proud of it :) and your piece is no joke either, I love when people put in so much effort like that

thank you! all you gotta do is make an initial skeleton version with thin lines, and once you get those to look smooth you just draw on top of them, pretty simple!

thanks, appreciate it 😌

Thanks! I really like yours too, such a cool perspective

nah, it was actually pretty smooth until the end! the only thing I wished for was a keybind to open the catalogue, I'm sure you can guess why 😂

cool game, made me think 🤔

Thank you so much! I wasn't expecting nearly this good of a result, so I'm really glad I went ahead with it anyways :)

thank you, that's such a unique thing to notice!

I originally planned to make it more melancholic, but in order to do that I would've need a lot more time and skill, neither of which I had xD but this also turned out much better than I expected, and the concept itself is still sad so it serves as a nice contrast with what's actually being shown

thank you so much! and yeah, that leg really does stand out like a sore thumb, I almost decided to remove it entirely, but I think the motion helped distract from it at least a little bit

also, I didn't wanna point it out so as to not ruin the illusion, but I'm so glad someone picked up on the fact that this was the left leg and it didn't make any sense for the right one to not be visible 😂😭

oh, what!? I feel so honored 😭 thank you so much!

the 90s batman animated series conditioned me xD

thanks 😀 I had a lot of fun making it

LMAOOO 😭 btw, that minos pfp is FIRE

omg, look who's talking about cooking, let's just be co-chefs 👨‍🍳

hey that's awesome, it's always great when you get to try new things. resolutions, ideas, whatever, just keep challenging yourself and you'll be surprised how far you get, hope I see you in the next one :)

thank you!! I'm glad you think so too :)

I'm so glad so many people are loving the concept, thank you so very much, I really appreciate the kind words :)

and yours definitely had the most personality, I loved it!

staahp, you're gonna make me emotional (pls don't stop)

thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it!

omg thank you! I was so self-conscious about the grass, so I really appreciate that

thank you so much! yours interpretation's also my favorite, so this means a lot coming for you

I left a comment on every other submission so I'm feeling obligated at this point 😭
