Unfortunately, it's quite unplayable due to the fact that I can't fully look around. As soon as my mouse hits the edge of the screen, the controller no longer turns. So I can't look around fully. Otherwise I would have loved to try and beat it.

Okay, using a trail renderer for the hair; that's clever as hell. Awesome work as always, Thomas. Your artstyle in this medium has a really interesting feel. And the sound design for this is fantastic.

So, you probably know about these bugs but I'm going to list them anyway.

Bugs:

- The cursor doesn't stay confined to the game window

- You can't pick up something off the ground without simultaneously digging

- After I bring up the pause menu, it takes a few seconds before I can dismiss it

Feedback:

- When I saw the cave, I was like, "There's a cave!" :D

- I like the direction you're going with the sound effects

- I like the physics of how things roll around when you drop them on a slanted surface, and I like that when you dig or place terrain, it effects the collider too, so you're not still walking on a flat surface

- I'm not sure what the conditions are to start the tutorial, but I didn't realize that the tutorial was in the top right of the screen until the text changed to "Create table with 4 logs stacked beside each other"

- I also couldn't get past that part of the tutorial. I didn't know where to place the logs or how they needed to be arranged.

- There's a little popping noise when you're placing an item that my ears found unpleasant

I would love to know how to do all the things you have listed on this page. It seems like you've got some fun stuff in the game, I just can't figure out how to do those things. But keep up the great work!

Woah! I love the new intro! The little tutorial is great too. The only thing I'd say is to move the sign that says press 'W' to jump a l;ttle more to the left, because you have to jump before you can actually see it.

If there is a way for you to make it so that you can't click outside of the game, that would be nice. There have been a few times when I was trying to shoot this turret and I accidentally clicked outside of the game and it got minimized.

So, what I'm talking about with the controls is having a screen in the pause menu that shows what buttons do what. For instance, it would have been helpful if I saw a screen that showed me that the 'W' key is used to jump.

Okay, so I got to the 2nd area (the first 'checkpoint') and I think it's a bad idea to have turrets that shoot you from off-screen. I feel like I HAVE to die to even figure out how to deal with them. And it seems like the only way to kill them is while they're off-screen too. I don't like that.

I'm going to see how far I can get though, and I'll keep letting you know my thoughts along the way. I'll try not to be too harsh, but just know that I am in your shoes, so I know how it is, and I want to hopefully expose you to any blindspots that you may have.

So, the art-style definitely intrigues me. But I just could not figure out how to get past the first room for a long time. I think most people would have given up before I figured it out. Try and make the platforms that you can jump on stand out from the background more, so it's obvious that you have to jump on them. I would say, definitely get pause menu functionality in the game as soon as possible. And it would be REALLY helpful to see a screen that tells me what the controls are. And I would say take care with the camera shake. It's a bit disorienting.

But how long have you been working on this game?
