I'm impressed with how much is in the game created in just a weekend.
Nice graphic and animations!
I finished the game in 03:12 (2 days in game).

Thanks for your comment and sharing your highscore :D
There are a few mechanics and some of them are not explicitly written in the description. For example, bigger distance between squares makes triangles moving slower. It could seem to be easier, but because of the distance it's more diffcult to keep your eyes on both squares. Closer squares are easier to look after, but then triangles move faster.
Today I got to get 542 score (earlier I was getting around 200-300).
Thank you for your comment!
Getting a bonus for "close dodge" is a mechanic used often in shoot'em up games, especially bullet hell subgenre. It's called "grazing" (also scraping, buzzing, scratching) and it's meant to incentive player to take some risk for a bonus points or other benefits (like getting power meter, like here).
Also, thank you for appreciating the music. I used the theme of symmetry even there, by swapping the pitch of notes with each other in the last bar :D
Thank you for your comment. I'm happy you are satisfied with the music. I always have some doubts when working on it, but in the end, when I hear my creation in the game, then I kinda like it.
Also, we just released a new, post-jam update to our game, with some fixes and enchancements we wanted to have earlier, but didn't have time for them. It includes the shortcuts you mention.
I see the game doesn't work after buying first upgrade and starting fight. Another issue I found is when losing all my health at stage 4, bought meat in the shop (which only restored a bit of that healt, so I had 2/5), and after leaving the shop I was getting "Thanks for playing" text, then going back to the shop.
This transition effect is so cool, but overused at the same time. Between every stage you need to wait for it to fold and unfold.
On my third attempt, I beaten the game. No upgrades, just my bare hands :D
Thank you for your comment.
This game jam we really worked hard, using the time to the very end of the submission deadline. Doing all the animations, implementing features, and doing right balance was time consuming, but I think it was worth. I'm personally proud of the outcome.
Penguins are being more nuisance with time. The better you get at optimizing production and upgrading, the less of a problem they should pose :D
Thank you for your comment. We worked really hard to the very end of game jam and had some difficulties making web build.
Unfortunately, because of that, we didn't have time to fix the issue you mention.
Normally, at this point, you won the game, and you should see an ending screen with an image, which is shown at game's page screenshots section. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Congratulations on beating the game! 🎉
