Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, that was something I tried to address with Phaser's collision system but couldn't get around to within the time constraint of the game jam.
Glad you enjoyed it! The 2D art and animation were done around the end of the game jam so I guess it turned out fine for being made by someone that writes code for a living :D

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I didn't really have enough time to get more content in. The collision is entirely done through Phaser. Something I didn't get to fix was spawning on top of cliffs but overall everything is a rectangular collider even if the sprite for it is looks more complex.
Thanks for taking the time to try my game! The batteries are indeed an integral point in the gameplay loop so I'm really happy that you found the design around resource management with them enjoyable!
Thanks! The escape hatch is at a completely random location each time and that is where the challenge of winning the game comes in. Glad you enjoyed it!
Is this going to be a problem? Several people are commenting on the fact and while I have outlined the necessary steps to get it to run, I am aware there is some background knowledge required to go through the hoops. This is my first ever game upload here and I think I now know how to change it to do what people expect it to when viewing the submission but it requires me to reupload it and as reviews are already ongoing that would not be possible anymore.
