Very nice style & good feeling platformer controls. Well done!

The sprite-work is so impressive. The art all comes together to create a very unique cosy lil atmosphere. A gnome chaos-causing simulator is something I never knew I wanted. Good work guys!

Very well made! There's a lot of fun to be had in the strategy of it. Really cool artstyle too.

So creative, well made, and fun! Seriously this is so impressive. This has massive potential for a full game.

That's insanely cool to hear. I didn't think people would like it that much. I'm not sure if I can add a new build until the voting period is finished cus I don't want ppl to think I'm cheating and get disqualified. I'll look and see if it's mentioned in the rules anywhere and update you! Thank you for your kind words <3

Thank you for recognising my MASTERPIECE. They said it was gonna be too XTREME for modern audiences. They said people couldn't handle it, but I made it anyway. Look at it now 😎

We both made games about Gremlin slaughter. We must be spirituality connected, there's no doubt.

Playing this has infused me with an insatiable bloodlust 10/10

Super happy to hear you liked it!

Thanks a lot for your kind comment, dude! Super happy to hear you enjoyed your time with it. I feel like a lot of people struggle with Stage 10. Heck, I struggle with Stage 10 too. It's a shame that people won't be able to see the final cutscene but I guess it's my fault for overtuning the difficulty 😭.

There's quite a few of us Gnome Devs in this jam, we gotta support each other fr. I'm gonna check out your game when I get the chance!

The Gnome Vs Gremlin rivalry is so fucked up, dude, they won't even respect each others dead. Thanks for playing and your kind comment! I used to have Chicken Shoot on the WII as a kid, that game slapped haha

In case anyone is curious, here's a full playthrough of the game

Ahhh okay that makes sense. Cute lil idea! Glad they're revolting tbh, the shopkeeper has oppressed them for far too long

Ah okay fair enough. Glad the actual gameplay doesn't lag at least! Construct is awesome, I really love it. It's so easy to work. The visual-scripting is so natural to me - my brain enjoys it a lot. It's a 2D engine currently but is actually starting to support 3D which is awesome. The only issue is that it's like £13 a month which can get pretty pricy ;-;

Oh really? The assets aren't actually 3D in-engine, they're pre-rendered sprites. I'm unsure why the game was lagging. What machine are you running? My testing was all on high-end computers.

Haha your game is awesome. A Kaiju simulator is such a good idea for this jam! I like how the skybox is a literal box with clouds painted on it, it's quite charming.

Good work on your game! The match game was actually pretty fun and really kept my brain engaged. I enjoyed the multitasking between catching the running currants and fulfilling the order. The game was difficult, but not so much so that I couldn't finish it, which I personally enjoy. My biggest criticism is that I'm kinda confused why we're catching running currants and putting them in a jar in the first place. The currant catching and the order matching kinda feel like two different game ideas stitched together but without much reason.

Regardless, I still had fun with it. Well done :)

Genuinely brilliant. One of my favourites of this Jam so far. The combat has good feel - enemies react nicely and I like how the sword swing doubles as a dodge. Enemies were cool, I especially like the way the big crabs telegraph their attacks! The art and writing is charming and the boss battle was a lot of fun and very well designed. Not too easy and not too hard. The game didn't overstay its welcome either, it's short and sweet, perfect for a game jam.

Seriously, really great work.

Really well executed lil puzzle game! Simple, very easily understandable yet still surprisingly difficult at times. Good work!

Creative mechanic! Lead to some pretty fun problem solving.

Great game. It's so simple that it seems like you had a lot of time to focus on polish, style & juice, and it really shows. Truly a great example of the best way to approach a game jam. Good work!

Actually a lot of fun! Having to perform different kinda clicks on different rabbit types, while avoiding enemies with differing mechanics definitely made for an experience that expanded to a greater extent than I expected. My only criticism is that the tutorial levels are quite long and when you get into the level where the game leaves you with all it taught you, the level is extremely easy and over very quickly. There's no score system, or any other level after that, so ultimately it feels like the game misses it's potential slightly.

Regardless, great concept and great execution, well done!

I didn't think my lack of hangman skills would one day lead to the death of many... D:

I like the vibe of this game. The strange music really gave it an unsettling atmosphere, and when the red guys chased you it was actually quite tense. Though, I think the difficulty is all over the place, with some levels being easy runs to the finish line while some are super hard and feel like luck to get through. That aside, I think you've managed to capture a really interesting feeling for your game!

I think you've managed to capture a really strange, liminal aesthetic here. There's something about the slightly dissonant synth soundtrack that helps make this game weirdly atmospheric. Good work!

Loved this. Fantastic concept and great execution.

My strategy for beating levels is just to spawn so many guys that they all become dispersed through the level and then you can just switch between them until you get to the one near the rocket haha

Super well crafted little puzzle box. Really enjoyed it!

A real brain-tickler. Your puzzle designs are genuinely excellent & the gameplay is immediately intuitive. Seriously impressive work!

Your game is awesome! There's just something so charming about this. I maxed out everything which for these kind of games I don't usually have the patience to do. The progression was so satisfying and just fast enough to keep me engaged with it. It felt very well crafted.

Good work!

Haha thanks a lot for that! I don't know what I would do without my gnome power

Thanks a lot, MilkMan, I'm glad you had fun with it!

Haha I'll give it another try. What time are you planning on streaming?

Excellent jam entry. Super appealing visual style, gameplay is simple and enjoyable. Great work with this.

Yes I'll try yours when I get a chance :)

Surprisingly fun, satisfying progression and great polish. Good work with this!

Thanks a ton! Super happy to hear you liked it

The game was simple, readable and immediately enjoyable, so massive congrats with that, guys. I found the sprite-work seriously impressive! My only complaint is that I often forgot which number buttons related to which spells, so I would end up spamming all of them.

Thanks a lot! Stage 10 gets super tough, but is totally possible ;)

that is a fucking awesome compliment

A beautiful experience. The gentle ambience and the quiet twinkles of the little whisps really came together to create quite a serene soundscape. The visuals are amazing too. You show a great understanding of colour-theory.

My only complaint is that the game didn't run very well. The occlusion culling came in clutch occasionally, but when I was staring out into far distances the frames suffered. Didn't impact my enjoyment too much though.

Great work with this!
