Love those mini-games, nice meming about the Gamedev.TV. It generally feels polished and fun. Great work here! The only flaw I can think of is in the maze the camera being pushed around in the narrow space, which makes me dizzy. The maze would be a perfect one if this is a First person perspective game
Great concept! It looks cool, but the player can only decide where to put the gun and split the city. Which feels like not that impactful. I don't see the damage numbers and stuff, and I don't understand how the game works, or how to win the game. I guess I would just split cities and build guns while some random aliens will visit me.
This looks, plays, and sounds fun. It's a 10 out of 10 for a one-week game jam. I had a lot of fun playing it. Right now, somehow, the difficulty is balanced, and it's so fun. I love the upgrades. The only flaw is that it seems like the in-game cards were not stacking( but this somehow makes the game very balanced). Other than this, everything is great! Keep developing this!
Excellent game! Nice art, appropriate sounds, and exciting music. Good combination of 2D and 3D.
The only problem I had was I was quite confused with all those light, medium, and heavy attacks, and water, fire, wind, earth, and health drain.
I get it that you guys want to build a system where players can use combo and suitable type skills, but I have no idea what does what. I need some guidance or information on the damage that will be dealt with and what the combo does.
One last thing, I got stuck in the combat and can't do anything but quit when I was fighting the 3 guards at the bottom of the map.
Overall, the game was pretty good!!
Nice game, I'm interested in playing and finished the game.
It was short and did not have much explanation but yet clear, choosing to destroy humanity or destroy robots. The mechanism is simple, move or attack with action points. We have a healer, warrior, ranger, and tank. Cool! The leveling-up system in camp was the key factor to make the game fun even if the leveling-up condition is just winning a battle.
The only thing missing is the audio. Maybe later we can have more RPG side of gameplay, like some simple dialogue before every battle, or more complex maps and missions to build up the character.
The movement feels too quick and the sword attack's range is too short, which makes the game difficult. Also, all the MP at level 1 is only enough for two shots of magic attack, and the magic attack is looking weak and not worth using.
And I recommend building a monster health pool UI or a pop-up damage number UI, so that players know how much damage they are doing. Maybe we can have some dialogue or story to explain what is going on here, as our theme was a villain RPG.
Overall, the system logic works pretty well and the art looks good. The transformation from one map to another is nice. The music sounds cool and fun.
This reminds me of Pokemon. The battle system is cool and well done, maybe later we will have some animation. The camera movement is interesting. It's a pretty big map for a non-fully developed map, except I can walk right through some buildings and water. The only thing lacking is more content and a guide system for what we need to do (expect players to be dumb).
